Black headdress with a long beak-like mouth. The lower portion of the beak is wired on the inside to open and close. Three small holes are visible beside the lower beak. The eye is a black circle within a red oval and there is a small rounded ear on either side. Between the ears, the back of the headdress is open. There are two upper wooden braces and one lower for support.

Vest820/2

Vest made of mulberry bark cloth with a dark red fringe along the bottom edge and painted designs in dark red, medium red, green and brown. There is also a band of blue-black geometric motif embroidery as well as a band of applique red fabric just above the fringe, and the vest is reinforced with rows of stitching throughout.

Ink (a) in the form of a male figure standing on a lobster (?), carrying a sword and dressed in an elaborate robe painted gold with green and blue details in the form of irises and characters representing happiness. The figure fits into a specially made rectangular wooden box composed of five walls (b) with a sliding front panel composed of a wooden frame (c) that holds a sheet of glass (d). The box is fitted with cardboard cut and bent to fit snugly around the ink figure and a base (e) that fits inside the box, all of which is covered in fibre with woven multicoloured floral patterns except for the back, which is red fabric.

Six-sided, lozenge-shaped wooden shield with pointed ends and a raised rib down the centre. Curvilinear designs in black, grey and brown are painted on both sides: stylized floral patterning and demon-like faces with fangs on front; stylized floral patterning and humanoid figures on the reverse. Tapa Cloth1266/1

Tapa cloth in a circular shape painted with a geometric design in black and reddish-brown. At the very centre of the painted design is a five-pointed star inside a circle, which is inside a four-pointed star shape. The design also incorporates diamond shapes, zigzags, and solid black and reddish-brown bands.

Very long, red-brown wood staff decorated with very elaborate scroll, chain, and flower designs in red yellow, and black. The first piece (part a) has the following pattern: elongated triangles with delta-like features at the ends; cross-link chain; elongated triangles with heart-like spades at the ends; chain; flower; chain; scroll; chain; flower; chain; elongated triangles with heart-like spades at the ends; scroll; and elongated triangles. The second piece (part b) has the same pattern in reverse.

Long, tall wood sculpture. Has green oval inset eyes surrounded bya downward curving red band pointing toward the thin nose which has a bit of hair ? underneath at either side. The open red mouth is showing black teeth. Has a red body with the hands holding a long, thin serrated object in front of it while a smaller length of the same serration is at either side to the elbows. Wearing a tall headdress that is has a black helmet-like feature with four thin upward curving protrusions all around that are decorated with serrations and downward pointing red and black triangles. Standing on a plain, cylindrical wood pedestal.

Thunderbird Mask863/1

Thunderbird mask with a large protruding beak. Atop of the mask on each side is a tiered piece of wood that is carved to curl over at the top. The piece is painted black with red and green details. The area in between the top pieces is covered with white feathers and edged with a wooden fringe and orange rope. The eyes are round and black, the area surrounding the eyes is green. The beak is orange and red. The lower beak is hinged and opens and closes using a black string inside the mask. The bottom of the mask has a long wooden fringe laced together with red plastic. The mask has a wooden back painted red, green and black with four downward barbs.

Long slim animal with red tusks, a long snout, and an elaborate white crest in a swirl motif. Has protruding, circular dark blue eyes outlined by red and red ears. A protruding, circular red shape is on the back of the neck. Body has dark blue lines with red accents. The back legs stand on the base while the belly rests on the base with the front legs are tucked around at either side.
