A wood bird with its wings tucked close to its body. Body is mainly dark blue. The dark green wings are decorated with a red starburst shape surrounded by smaller dark blue dots, outlined in red, with a white diagonal off centre, and a red wing tip. The back is decorated with two red dots. The eyes are white with dark blue pupils and outlined with red. Beak slighty open, and outlined with red. Tail is red, decorated with dark blue, and outlined with white and green. Blue legs standing on a circular base.

Vertical, cylindrical drum with a concave curve around the bottom half. Six large wooden pegs pierce the sides of the drum, holding the skin over the top in place; skin around the sides is covered in brown fur. Linear patterns are carved around the sides, augmented by brown, painted geometric and linear designs.

Standing wood figure (ibeji) with black beaded waistband. Stylized black hair is slightly oblong, and is accentuated with vertical grooved lines. Three oval grooved marks on the forehead, and on each cheek. Arms are at the sides. Slight breasts, and a naval. Has a blue beaded necklace, and a blue, black, and clear orange-yellow beaded necklace. Its left arm has a string of cowrie shell, and blue, and red beads. Doll has a loin cloth carved with panels and stands straight on a circular pedestal.

Stylized black hair is oblong, and is accentuated with vertical grooved lines, which also elaborate upon the feather-shaped adornments. Three oval grooved marks on the forehead, and on each cheek. Arms are at the sides, left hand holds a string with cowrie shells. Has breasts pointing downward, and outward. Has knees and a naval. Wears a blue beaded necklace. Stands on circular pedestal with diamond pattern carved on base.

Elaborately carved rectangular wooden panel depicting two quails perched on a blossoming camellia tree; carvings are three-dimensional, bordered by a thick frame, and incorporate expanses of open space. Colours used are red, blue, green, brown and grey.

Two tools attached: a knife (18.3 cm) with metal blade, wood and bone handle, leather and bone sheath; ovoid leather pouch (approximately 33 cm long), trimmed with yellow and red wool fabric, yellow and green rickrack and light yellow-brown reindeer fur. Small square of plastic tape (reflective tape?) glued on at centre back; evidence that two other squares of tape had been attached but have fallen off.

Cantonese opera prop hoe. Long wooden pole with a knob on one end and a thin, curved, wedge-shaped piece of metal near the other end; dark green and white stripes are painted around the pole.
