Mask2655/140

Oval-shaped portrait mask. Right side is dark red in colour, its left side is dark green in colour. A bulged forehead is attached to a triangular-shaped nose and a cut-out grinning mouth with grooves. Eyes are outlined in black coloured paint and have red, green, and black coloured paint in the centre. Eyebrows are painted black and flare out at the tips. Head hair is painted black, gathering at the centre, and flowing down the sides to jaw length.

A female doll with her black thread hair held into several buns with hair accessories. Her kimono-like robe is blue with a purple, pink, white, green and gold-coloured floral print. Her belt has an alternating pattern of rows of white and gold-coloured squares. There is a partially opened brown, black, and dark red parasol held down in her right hand as she holds the folds of her robe in her left hand. She is wearing black geta-like footwear as she stands on a flat rectangular wood base painted black and lined with fabric. The doll (part a) is in a brown wood and glass case (part b) which has a purple tassel on the door.
