Barrel jug. Red-brown, fairly fine-grained clay with white limestone particles and fine silver mica. Grey-white thick slip over all. Grey-black, thin matt paint. No base, high, flaring neck with small handle-ridge, flaring trumpet mouth, vertical handle from body to ridge on neck. Two small circular protrusions, one on each side of the body. Decoration consists of vertical strokes on rim, horizontal bands on neck and strokes on handle. Two groups of broad and narrow concentric circles on each face. Beneath handle and on body opposite handle, two hatched lozenges with a pendant triangle.
Bowl made of medium-grained red, hard-fired clay, gritty to the touch with scattered red grits and fine mica. Thin red slip covers entire vessel. Black, thin matt paint. Deep bowl with low ring foot, steeply rising walls, slight carination just below lip, two small ribbon handles attached to top half of body providing a finger hold. Decoration consists on interior of concentric bands of varying widths in central portion of wall and two bands on bottom. A band defines the lip. On the exterior are concentric bands around the middle of the body, a row of concentric circle motifs around the upper half and paint on handles.
Jug made of cream, fairly fine-grained clay with a cream slip. Grey-brown, thin, matt paint. Pyriform body, short neck, beaked mouth, small vertical handle from neck to shoulder. Decoration consists of three vertical bands dividing neck into two zones. Three groups of horizontal lines in each zone. Body is divided into two halves by a horizontal wavy line framed by two straight bands. In the upper half are wide, latticed vertical panels framed on each side by a plain vertical band. In the lower half of the body are four groups of four parallel vertical lines converging in the centre on the bottom.
Yellowish buff, fine-grained, hard-fired clay jug, with a white slip. Light brown, semi-lustrous paint. Pyriform body, flat base, short neck, tall-beaked mouth, handle consisting of two twisted strands, extends from neck to body. Three-pierced lugs for suspension on body, one at point where neck meets body, two at base of mouth. Decoration consists of horizontal bands on neck and handle, and two horizontal lines dividing the body into two zones. In the upper zone are vertical triangular crosshatched areas separated by a double zigzag line. In lower zone, groups of two wavy lines converge at mid-point on bottom of base. Circles with dot in centre found between the wavy lines.
Figure representing a votary composed of grey-brown, fairly fine-grained clay with white limestone particles and fine silver mica covered in white slip and the details of the face painted in reddish-orange, and there is reddish-orange also painted on the arms and torso. The figure has a tubular body with its hands raised in front of its chest holding tympanum. Small fringe of hair on forehead. Tympanum and arms made separately and applied.
Jar made of grey-white, coarse-grained clay. Blue-green thick, glaze covers entire surface. Flat base, cylindrical shaped body, turns inwards only slightly leaving a wide-mouthed vessel with a flat rim, separated from the body only by a shallow groove. Near the top of wall are two small pierced lugs. A vertical band in relief decorated with three grooves is situated under each lug. Surface badly worn and gouged.
Orange, very gritty, porous clay lid, full of small to large white limestone particles, dark grits and large flakes of silvery mica. Surface badly pitted. Grey-white matt slip over surface. Hollowed out underside, convex walls, plain low, flat knob on top for hand hold; conical in shape.
Lid made of cream, fine-grained, hard-fired clay with a large quantity of gold mica; red slip. Flat ring base with deeply hollowed out underside, domed shape, large everted knob for hand hold.
Shadow puppet of cured hide pressed flat; depicts a humanoid, demonic figure. Hair is flowing outwards and down the back is black. Yellow and red headband goes across forehead and around ear. Head is positioned to 3/4 view. Eyes are crossed. Mouth has fangs and is breathing red flames on to right knee and foot. Naked from waist up, showing hanging breasts and rounded stomach. Wears a blue sarong with a fine black stripe tied at waist by a red sash with a fine black stripe. Punched through designs of circles and lines. Painted both sides. Right arm swings free from shoulder and is bound with a coarse fibre cord.
Chief's headdress with cap of light blue felt. Rim of cap has feathers inserted into leather holders sewn to felt. Holders are painted in bands of red, blue, and white. Feathers are brown and white with blue marabou feathers glued to the bottom shaft and to the tip of the feather. Red paper circles are glued where the marabou meets the eagle feather tip. Orange marabou feathers are on the crown of the cap. Band of loom-woven beadwork in red, blue, and yellow runs across the front to rounds of beadwork at either end. Dangles of loom woven beads with marabou feathers tied to the ends and two strips of white fur with black tips, hang from each side.
