Carving of a raven-like mask and dancer, head and body continuous. Elongated raised beak, wing wrapped around back. Hole in base. Red and black watercolour on unfinished wood.
Model totem pole with owl(?) situated on top of humanoid. Flat back and round base. Hole in bottom of base indicates that object may be incomplete. Red and black water colour on unfinished wood.
Light yellow-white horse head, neck, face and outer ears. Black mane, eyebrows, top eye outline and pupils. Red inner ears, nostrils, mouth, snout, lower eye outline, and marks on forehead and either side of neck. Affixed to black mount and stand.
Mask depicting Garula, a mythical bird figure, with a central head piece (a), a wing-shaped appendage consisting of feathers radiating upwards from a base of concentric triangles that attaches to the left side of the face (b), and another similar appendage that attaches to the right side of the face (c). The mask has a dark red beak and eye sockets, dark green cheeks, and grey-white protruding eyeballs with large black pupils and crescent-shaped holes beneath each eye. A hooded cobra runs between the eyes with its tail curling around the beak and into the mouth. The figure is wearing a headdress of yellow, red, and green feather-like shapes that are layered upwards with a line of larger feathers at the centre. Above is a dark brown, green spotted crown-like form. The wing attachments each fit into a mortise joint hole beside each eye.
Hand puppet representing the character Xu Wen (bearded official). Costumed cloth hand puppet with carved, painted wooden head, hands, and feet. Varnished green face with orange cheeks, black hair and details. Black hair beard (26 cm long) attached below nose; sideburns. Body (part a) is undyed cotton flaps, attaching around head, light blue hands with holes through sideways, stuffed legs, white and light blue soled black boots. Pasted and stitched red silk robe (part b) with three centre, paper reinforced front flaps, with centre mirror, brocade circle, turquoise and white fur trim. Yellow brocade at front edges, yellow strip inside front. Decorations include yellow silk insets along blue borders, green and light blue silk flower-like insets with metal sequins, tin edged mirrors and silver and gold foil wrapped thread. Yellow cord trim at orange and blue stand up collar. White cord tie at neck, otherwise costume is detachable.

Varnished yellow/cream face, black and red detail; black hair glued; ponytail held with glued string. Body (part a) is undyed cotton flaps, attaching around head with attached white hands with holes through sideways; stuffed legs with attached white and green soled black boots. Pasted and stitched panelled green silk robe (part b) in six rounded sections; double front flap at centre; cotton lined. Orange waistband and insets; stuffed yellow and green cat face at centre with red plastic ears, tongue and white plastic fangs; metal eyes. Decorations include; silver foil wrapped tread meanders, gold foil wrapped thread outlines, round and leaf shaped metal sequins and white and orange fur trim. Detachable costume; cord tie at neck.
Mask depicting Kanna Sanniya (which represents blindness) with a dark grey-green face, small ears, pursed red lips outlined in black, a straight nose with red nostrils, and a three-lobed dark yellow crown with a black design. The eyes are red-rimmed and outlined in black, and the mask's right eye is smaller than the left, which bulges outwards. There is a hole behind each ear through which thin string is threaded and then tied at the rear. A label on the reverse reads, "KANNA SANNI: blindness" and the number "19" has been scratched out and the number "20" written beside it.
Mask representing a wolf head (this is a type of theatrical Kolam mask) with a black face, a long narrow snout, open mouth with red lips and pointed red teeth, bulging eyes with red-rimmed black pupils, and red nostrils. One protruding black and red ear remains nailed the the left side of the animal's head. One longer canine tooth in lower left side of jaw. Flexible red rubber tongue tip and segment of tongue have broken off the end of the remaining piece of tongue that is nailed to the inside of the lower jaw. The upper and lower jaws are wired together on each side with two equidistant vertical stitches. Cotton string is looped through a hole in the top of the head at the back edge and the ends of the string tied together.
Mask depicting Moorman (a kolam dance mask). The mask is of a humanoid face with deep-set eyes, each with a crescent-shaped hole beneath, and an oval, pink face. The nose has slightly flared nostrils, and the mouth is open in a grin that shows a set of uniform white teeth. The mask also has arched eyebrows, long ears and there is a dark red-brown fez above the forehead. On the reverse, at the top of each ear is a nail with wire wrapped around it. There is also a nail with wire at the top centre. Label on reverse reads, "MOORMAN - KOLAM" in typewritten letters, and has an encircled "47" written in pencil.
Maha Kola Sanni Yaka healing mask, depicting a central figure wearing a headdress composed of five snakes and with long fang-like teeth holding an orange creature and standing on a dark red-brown smiling head (part a). The top figure has two detachable disc-shaped earpieces (parts b and c) with a floral motif. The central figure is flanked by two detachable segments (parts d and e) composed of two columns of four multi-coloured heads and the topmost column of one yellow head. At the top is a cobra whose body extends over the heads and down the outer side to the floral design element at the bottom. A label on the reverse of one of the side attachments reads, "MAHA-KOLA-SANNI-YAKKA: demon of 18 apparitions."
