Mostly unpainted carved wooden mask. Large rabbit-like ears. Black paint on mouth and on raised edging around eyes. Two drilled holes at sides. Mask originally had cracked rabbit skin glued to head and ears (see Condition section).

Animalistic painted wooden mask with a beak-like mouth. The upper beak is black with white dabs of paint along the edges. The lips are red and the lower beak is black. Inside the mask two ropes are strung to open the lower beak and move the tongue. The area surrounding the eyes is painted light brown. The eye is outlined in black, then red. The eye is made from a piece of reflective glass. On the top of the mask metal framework is attached and carries on inside and at the rear, by which the mask was held on the head. There are many fibres tangled about the metal framework at the rear. Also on top fibres are wrapped around nails.

Wooden creaser with bird heads protruding on both ends. Lower edge of the tool is curved and carved lengthways on the ventral surface with a long groove. An oblong opening in the centre of the piece functions as a grip. The flat, domed shaped edge at the top of the creaser has file marks on its dorsal surface. The remains of a previous powdery paint finish, in orange-red that has been turned black in areas, cover most of the two faces of the creaser. The natural wood colour is a yellow-brown.

Anthropomorphic mask with an elongated nose, a human mouth, and a moustache. Upper half of the face is plain brown while the lower half of the face is painted red just across the nostrils. Has circular cut out hole eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a plain tapering oval with black brows above. Nostrils are cut out. Has a black moustache. Black fabric is nailed at either back side.

Copper made from several sheets of metal joined together with metal rivets. The rectangular base is formed by two pieces of metal joined with another piece with a ridge that runs vertically up the centre. These three pieces are joined to the top section by another strip of metal with a ridge that runs across horizontally. The top section has sides that flare outwards towards the top, which has a curved edge. The top section is also slightly convex. The copper has a blackened surface overall and is painted with a green border around the top section, which also has the stylized face of a sea bear in green paint with areas of bare copper showing through the blackened surface. The bottom section is painted with four pairs of green diagonal lines.

Wooden model of an outrigger canoe with two rectangular shaped plaited woven sails with red designs and a deep, rectangular shaped hull. Attached to the centre is a rectangular shaped deck that supports the sails and the outrigger. The bow and stern are decorated with triangular-like shaped boards with red detailing. The bottom of the canoe is cylindrical shaped with tapered ends that are engraved with a crocodile. The outside of the canoe is decorated with black and red fish, figures and abstracted designs. The outer wall of the deck is detailed with two protruding head-like figures painted red and black. The outrigger is attached with three narrow, cylindrical shaped pieces of wood.

Model canoe with painted black outer hull inlaid with geometric and flower-like shell shapes along the bottom edge of the hull and in horizontal lines on the sides of the hull. One end has a carved head and arms attached , and the opposite end has a carved geometric finial as well as a string of cowrie shells. Four seats, each composed of a straight segment of wood supported by a u-shaped piece of wood with a carved head that faces inwards at the tip of each end.

The cloth is rectangular and natural coloured with painted stripes and two fringed edges. There are 11 green lines across the cloth. Every second green line is paired with a blue line. Two of the edges are cut in a triangle fringe and decorated with two green triangles, one inside the other. Only one side of the cloth is painted.

Tapa cloth with brown and black stamped designs on natural ground. The design alternates squares of two patterns: a large brown circle and black triangles. One end has a thick border of geometric and abstract motifs separated by brown lines. The edge is also cut in a toothed pattern.

Brown wood boomerang painted with a red finish. The bottom side is smooth and plain. The top side has narrow curvi-linear lines that follow the shape of the boomerang. Near the smaller end, there are three horizontal grooves.
