Wooden boomerang(?) with painted designs across surface; back is flat, front is curved. One arm is shorter than the other. The shorter arm is wider and rounds out to a small point, longer arm tapers to a rounded end. Elbow has a soft curve. Front has a central snake-like design; done in pink, with a white dotted black border. Both arm ends are pink with identical borders to snake. Additional design of splatters of black and white on either side of the snake, and a semi-circle with dots underneath it. Back is stained dark-grey and red, the wood appears to have been burnt at one end.

The doll has a headband with three rows of small grey shells and an open weave head covering the hair. They carry a loosely woven bilum bag with pieces of wood(?) inserted horizontally throughout that hangs from a strap strung over the head. On the arms are dark brown woven arms bands and around the waist a thin woven band. The doll has a bark apron, covered by strings of small grey seeds that are twisted from the neck around the shoulders and then back around the waist multiple times. On the calves are mismatched woven leg bands.

Figure is wearing a knee-length red dress with white polka dots throughout; dark blue dots on white spots. Goat has impressed holes across nose, imitating nostrils; eyes are black painted spots. Base is painted red; bottom of base, and figure's face and limbs are naturally coloured. Unsigned.

The figures all have circular eyes, wide noses, closed mouths with wide lips, and protruding ears; eyes are painted white with black pupils. Holes are impressed in their noses, except for the older woman, imitating nostrils. Lines incised across all hands, imitating fingers. All the men are wearing large-brimmed orange hats and collared shirts; shirts done in blue, green and red, pants done in white and yellow. Women are all wearing polka dot dresses and have their black hair pulled into a bun; older female has white streaks through her hair. Dresses done in red, green, and dark blue. Base is painted green; bottom of base, and figures faces and limbs are naturally coloured. Partial artist signature carved in base.

The carved headdress has six upright feathers, which increase in size and then decrease again giving the headdress a curved appearance, and an ovoid painted above the figure's head. The seated male figure holds an upside-down grey fish in front of his body, and sits on top of the head of a large animal figure (sea-wolf or sea-bear?). The animal looks downward and sits on a mound creating an s-shape to its reddish-brown body.

Each post has two rectangular cutout holes near each end. On one post (part a), there is a small rectangular piece of wood nailed across the lower cutout hole near the tapered end. The cylindrical bar (part c) has been painted.
