Sanjuan Mask3010/13

Sanjuan Mask. Black rectangular-shaped face with slightly furrowed brow, round eye sockets, flat nose and a long, extended tongue. Large piece of animal skin nailed to forehead, which extends down back of mask in thin strips. Single hole drilled on each side of mask with a yellow string tied to. Back of mask is plain.

Spectacled Bear Mask3010/10

Spectacled Bear mask. Bear has small pointed ears extending upwards, large red circles around the eyes, and a red headband. Pointed snout with bared teeth, and long extended canines. Three holes drilled down along the top of the head. String is stapled to the back of the mask. Back of mask painted black.

Devil Mask. Devil has small pointed ears, black hair, wide almond-shaped eyes and a closed mouth. Forehead has furrowed brows. Septum is pierced with white and green bird feathers inserted. He wears a snake, and a white collar around neck. A single hole drilled on either side with a string attached. Back of mask is unpainted.

A brown snake with spots and wavy lines is held in the devil's teeth. A single hole drilled on either side, and a small section of twine attached to one hole. Back of mask is unpainted.
