A large vase with a rounded upper body which tapers into a slightly flared base and a flared upper rim. Landscape scene with human figures the eight immortals engaged in various activities. On the shoulders of vase are handles in form of 2 t'ao-t'ieh motifs. All in blue on white ground.

Wide rim deep dish. Center panel has landscape scene in polychrome with two lions in the foreground. Bordered with yellow scroll motifs and blue pomegranate fruits. Rim is decorated with red peonies and green leaves. Exterior has green and white orchids on dark green ground. Unmarked.

A conical hat is on his back. Overall underglaze blue with floral design on white background for his robe. Impressed mark on the bottom.
