Paper hand fan with a bifurcated bamboo handle, bamboo ribs, a flaring trapezoid-shape with one curved edge, and yellow trim. The design consists of a painted image in brown, yellow, orange, brown, blue and black depicting a figure with a hat sitting in a boat on water. White silk woven ribbon tied at handle cleft.

Set of ten postcards, each postcard illustrating the successive stages of making paper: (a) a scene of papermaking village (b) cutting down zozo shoots in winter (c) steaming bundles of zozo shoots (d) removing black bark from steamed shoots (e) bleaching white bark in sun by watering (f) boiling white bark with lye to soften (g) removing dirt and green parts from bleached bark (h) beating wet zozo into pulp (i) traditional method of papermaking (j) drying sheets of paper by exposing to the sun. All ten postcards are housed in a white envelope (k) with black characters and lines printed on one side and characters, a black and white image of a person bent over a large rectangular trough with a tray, and the inscription "Picture post-cards of Hand-made Paper-making Process" on the other side.

Set of five pennant-shaped paper bookmarks (b--f), each with a colour landscape photograph reproduced on the front. Each bookmark has a short length of coloured woven cord attached at the top; colours are purple, yellow, orange, pink, and green, respectively. All of the bookmarks are housed in a slim, rectangular paper envelope with characters and a landscape printed on one side in saturated colours; the bottom of the envelope is marked "Aburatsubo".
