Metal tin containing 67 straight pins. Tin is cylindrical and has a screw lid with wide threads. Lid is of a lighter metal and has a raised area in the centre of top; band of short perpendicular lines around side. A piece of card is wrapped around the tin and says, "Steel pins for point ground lace; a piece of tape connects the two ends.
Hand-made sample book containing small samples of five different kinds of hand-made lace, each labeled to indicate type of lace and (sometimes) the age of the maker. Pages held together with dark blue twine, threaded through two holes in the fold at the left edge and knotted. The cover is a folded sheet of dark blue construction paper with some words hand lettering in pencil; three labels made of masking tape partially obscure the writing. On the first page is a 6.4 cm long sample of 1.3 cm wide lace, vertically mounted on dark blue tissue paper and tacked down with white thread; two labels made of masking tape identify the name of the pattern, its place of manufacture, and notes about its maker and materials used. On the second page is a 9 cm long sample of 1.8cm wide lace, vertically mounted on dark blue tissue paper and held in place with two steel pins; one label made of masking tape identifies the name of the pattern. On the third page is a 7.5 cm long sample of 2 cm wide lace, vertically mounted on dark blue tissue paper and tacked down with white thread; one label made of masking tape identifies the name of the pattern. On the fourth page is a 9.3 cm long sample of 2.3 cm wide lace, mounted vertically on dark blue tissue paper and tacked down with white thread; one label made of masking tape identifies the name of the pattern and the age of the maker. On the fifth page is a 4.5 cm long sample of 7.1 cm wide lace, mounted horizontally and held in place with two steel pins; one label made of masking tape identifies the name of the pattern and the age of the maker.
Portable shrine (Stūpa) of gilded copper on platform. Copper plate set into bottom of base, onto which is incised a quatrefoil foliate design with the traditional double-Vajra symbol on the bottom and the Indian swastika symbol in the front-centre. Bulbous shape on top of base, with an opening in it extending into top of base, holding rolls of paper inside opening (a scripture/mantra roll). Rectangle, truncated cone and umbrella shape above.
Symmetrical wooden object (part a) with two round ends connected by a cylindrical axle that narrows sharply in the centre--round ends are three centimeters thick with a series of cut-outs around the edge revealing a hollow interior. One end has a circular piece of paper with concentric rings of deer, flowers and rabbits on it. The other end has two etched designs with characters in them, a price tag, a tag reading "MADE IN THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA," and a red rectangular tag with three characters on it. Part b consists of two bamboo sticks connected by a length of thick string tied around their tops.

White sheet of rectangular paper (part a) divided by blue and red coloured lines into seven segments; segments have in them a rooster, fish, crab, shrimp, a conical object with a ribbon, two rows of characters, and a circular object with a ribbon, respectively--all images are red, green or blue. Three die in a shrink-wrapped package (part b) have images on their six sides corresponding to those on the paper--excluding the characters.
Black and green coloured Japanese paper currency displayed in cream coloured paper scrapbook. Secured on page with black corner tabs and placed under strand of white fibre cording. Denomination is ten yen. Man with black hat and a moustache is at one end and a diamond-shaped scrolled graphic design is at the other. Black Japanese characters are in the middle. The bill is framed with black coloured graphic designs and there is a number "10" in each corner.
A large brown wood mask with lots of extremely long hair on string flowing down. The round red eyes bulge out with slits carved out underneath. The big wide nose has its nostrils cut out. The big open red mouth has long white teeth with four fangs curved outward to the sides at either ends. There is an elaborate crown headdress with three protrusions curved outward. The large ears are attached to the sides with string and are decorated with red curved lines and the lobes are pierced with gold conical earrings. The tongue is a long piece which falls out down from the mask and is made of red skin decorated with glass mirrors and gold ornaments. Two long orange fabric strips hang down either sides.
