Inside the clear plastic packaging, there are long sticks of orange coloured incense attached to red coloured sticks.

Doll529/38 a-b

The first paper doll (part a) has a white cloth face with black-painted eyes, eyebrows, and nose and a red-painted mouth. Her hair is folded out of black crepe paper into a bun and she has a pink ribbon pinned to her hair in a flower-like style with a yellow pin at the centre. Her cream-colour based Kimono-like robe has an orange spiral design with green dots and a red underlining and it is folded outward at diagonal angles from the waist. She has an orange belt with a gold-coloured string-like paper tied around it. The second paper doll (part b) has a white face with no facial features and black crepe paper hair tied in a bun with a red paper comb on top. Her kimono-like robe is coloured blue, pink, yellow, red, purple and white with an orange underlining and it is folded outward at diagonal angles from the waist. She has a purple, pink, red, and blue belt.

Musical Instrument1288/1 a-b

The bamboo instrument (part a) is a plucked idiophone known as mukkuri in Ainu. It is made of a flat long wooden stick which extends into a wider rectangular shape at one end. Within the first piece there are two slits which go along the stick in a prong-like shape; a red string loop is attached. The second piece (part b) is a paper document with orange designs and black and white writing characters with a picture of the object in the bottom middle.

U-shaped light-brown coloured skin pouch with green coloured braided strap and purple coloured side tassels. On the front flap is a central orange, brown, pink and green floral and leaf embroidered design and below, on the front part of the pouch is a central yellow, red, pink, blue and green floral and leaf embroidered design. Off-white coloured stitching lines the outer edges of the pouch flap and body. Inside the pouch is a brown coloured square piece of paper with the following black coloured hand-printed inscription in bold: SMOKED DEER SKIN TOBACCO POUCH SLAVI INDIANS FORT PROVIDENCE.

Dark red deer-like mask with red bushy hair and sideburns. Antlers are also dark red in colour and have two prongs each. The eyes are cut-out, are oval in shape and are close together. The top of the snout is long and wide and tapers to a rounded point. The mouth is open and has a thin tongue.

The object is a light cream-pink coloured clown mask with arched black painted eyebrows, oval-shaped cut-out eyes with grey painted triangular designs above the sockets, a large red bulbous nose, raised rose coloured cheek ridges, a black downturned moustache, and a heart-shaped dark pink mouth with a red circular tongue in the centre. There is one hole located on the forehead and two on each side of the mask parallel to the eyes. The back of the mask is painted light blue.
