Long package of incense sticks. Outer package has long red label with Chinese characters printed in silver. The top of the label has a multi coloured image of a woman holding a basket of flowers. Inside the clear plastic packaging, there are long sticks of orange coloured incense attached to red coloured sticks.
The first paper doll (part a) has a white cloth face with black-painted eyes, eyebrows, and nose and a red-painted mouth. Her hair is folded out of black crepe paper into a bun and she has a pink ribbon pinned to her hair in a flower-like style with a yellow pin at the centre. Her cream-colour based Kimono-like robe has an orange spiral design with green dots and a red underlining and it is folded outward at diagonal angles from the waist. She has an orange belt with a gold-coloured string-like paper tied around it. The second paper doll (part b) has a white face with no facial features and black crepe paper hair tied in a bun with a red paper comb on top. Her kimono-like robe is coloured blue, pink, yellow, red, purple and white with an orange underlining and it is folded outward at diagonal angles from the waist. She has a purple, pink, red, and blue belt.

The first piece (part a) is the head of a female painted with a green face and a large oval headdress surrounding her entire face. The headdress has a cylindrical stepped middle part, and the whole thing is red decorated with gold dots and a yellow rim. Her face is outlined with white and she has long black fibre hair. The second piece (part b) is the upper body which has the arms bent at the elbows with the right perpendicularly forward and the left more toward the body. The hands are both held in a position whereby the thumb connects in a circle with the finger next to it. The neck is long and tapers up to a point with a metal loop. The upper body garment is red decorated with green, blue, and gold. The third piece (part c) is the three red and beige multiple stringed strands with red and white tassels which are loosely tied around the neck. The fourth piece (part d) is a skirt which tapers to a red point at the top with a metal loop. The waist has a blue belt decorated with circular gold flowers and a horizontal gold line around the top and the bottom of the belt. Oval beads are painted in three rows around the hips with a pink rope underneath. The skirt is white with visible folds in the fabric and have two sets of horizontal rows that have pink in the middle and green around them which transition to yellow at the back. There is a long thin red front panel decorated with gold dots and sideways crescents outlined with two rows of gold dots followed by a pink, green, yellow, and white garland. Two long thin orange side panels are decorated with horizontal rows of green pink, blue, yellow and black. The fifth piece (part e) is the legs which are slightly fused together with blue anklets decorated with two horizontal of gold dots around the middle. The dark pink feet are standing on a rounded circular base painted grey and black. There is a metal loop at the top of the legs.

Box has two red vertical bars across the top--four paper fish silhouettes are laid across the bars, with an additional fish glued to the box in the background, creating a sense of depth. Flat fan made of finely-split bamboo flaring out from its attachment point to a long wooden handle painted black. Perimeter of fan is circular except for the lower edge where the handle is attached, which is straight and at right angles to handle. Fan is covered with lacquered paper on both sides, patterned with a design of four triangles radiating from centre. The top triangle is red, the one where the handle attaches is yellow, and the two at the sides are green. The area where the triangles meet is covered with a black circle enclosing an even cross. In each of the quadrants thus formed is a line going in from the edge of the circle parallel to one arm of the cross, then bending at a right angle and curving to follow the outline of the circle. The area surrounding the handle on one side is covered with a grey paper cut, and the area immediately surrounding the handle is painted orange. The fan inserted into a split in the handle, which is shaped like a pointed oval where it covers the fan, which is attached with two rivets.

Perimeter of fan is circular and scalloped except for the lower edge where the handle is attached, which is straight and at right angles to handle. Fan is covered with yellow lacquered paper on both sides. It is inserted into a split in the handle, which is flat and circular where it covers the fan, which is attached with two rivets.

Bamboo strips are bent downwards near the perimeter of fan, those on each side bending away from centre strip. Perimeter of fan is circular except for the lower edge where the handle is attached, which is straight and at right angles to handle. Fan is covered with pieces of floral-patterned silk, cut to form a design of three swirls converging at the centre, coloured purple, orange, and pale green on one side, and grey, very pale green, and pale orange on the other. It has a narrow edging of grey paper. The fan is inserted into a split in the handle, which is flat and lozenge-shaped where it covers the fan, which is attached with two rivets.
