Carved wooden turtle dish. The turtle has an oval-shaped body with a round head and arms at one end, legs and pointed tail at the other. On the front, the body is carved-out to create a bowl. On the back the body has curved designs painted in orange, outlined in black on white ground.

Carved wooden figure painted red and black. The head is painted gray, has carved protruding points and oval facial features. The body is painted brown and narrow, with arms by side and hands resting on hips. Feet are part of a narrow base, with sides that stretch upwards and connect to the thighs.

Bis Pole2719/3

Tall bis pole of light coloured wood with carved figures and red, yellow and white pigment. Above the pointed base is a hollowed oval canoe or bowl shape topped with a head. Two standing female figures, with body and facial tattoos, wearing only belted thongs, face each other, one holding the other up by the knees and the other resting her chin on top of the first female's head adornment. Braided grass tassels hang from holes along the sides of the hollow oval and from the ears and neck of the figures; top figure has a woven white cotton tube bracelet around one wrist.

Bis Pole2719/1

Carved wood Bis pole painted entirely with dark brown-black pigment. Above the spiked base rise two columns, each with three figures facing forward, with their feet on the head of the one below; in the back column are males who reach forward to hold the head or shoulders of the females in the slightly lower front column who reach back to hold their knees. The eyes, head bands, and carved tattoos on face and body are painted red and white. The top female wears a large branching headdress, the bottom female kneels.

On the front is a geometric pattern with square and triangle motifs in white, outlined in brown on an orange ground. Knotted through holes along the sides are bark tassels. On the back is a protruding handle with two large square holes and a painted zigzag motif.
