Bamboo arrow with pointed tip and geometric design carved into the bamboo near the tip. The design is accented with orange-red, white and brown pigment. The end of the arrow is notched and has thin strands of fibre wrapped around it. Fibre wrapped around the shaft, approximately one third of the way along the length from the tip.
Wooden mat creaser carved with two bird-like heads facing in opposite directions. Both surfaces are engraved with thunderbirds, dotted lines (rain?) and diamond shapes. An oblong opening has been carved into the centre of the piece to create a handle. The heads of the two birds are also decorated with incised lines, but different patterns. One has a series of criss-crossing diamond shapes enhanced with a white powdery substance and a circular eye, while the other has a slit-like eye and a diagonal slit on each side of its mouth. There are two incised thunderbirds on each side of the creaser, at the same end, for a total of four. They have dotted lines to represent their wing feathers and Xs on their tails, the ones in the middle of the creaser (beneath the opening) are upside down. Diamond shapes and dotted lines are likewise only represented at one end of the object, but on both sides.
Decapitated head opera prop. Representation of a human head. Eyebrows are painted black, eyes are black and white, lips are red, and edge of throat is rimmed with red. A looped rod extends from the top of the head. It is wrapped with grey fibre. Black fibre is wrapped overtop of the grey fibre and hangs down at the sides. There is a hole on top of the head where the rod is attached.
Spherical wooden drum with two opposite sides covered with skin. Skin is attached to wood by metal rivets that ring the outer edge of the material. Two metal rings are attached on either side of the drum via two small holes in the wood.
Carved wooden stool with a rectangular shape consisting of an elongated crocodile as the base with a flat, rectangular shaped, seat with rounded corners. The reptile has countless scales carved in shallow relief. The tail and neck extend; they are conical in shape and taper to a point. The neck has a chevron incised design and the face has an incised mouth with eyes and nose carved in relief. The seat is the back of the crocodile. The stool is covered in black pigment. The underside is hollowed.
Carved wooden hook consisting of a male figure with a large, long, oval shaped head with a long nose and a slightly protruding tongue. The face has two fibre tufts on either side and is detailed with blue, white and red pigment painted in an abstract design. There is an elongated, semi-circular woven fibre handle at the top. The body consists of two arm-like structures painted red and blue that point outwards at the ‘elbow’ then taper in, creating a diamond shape. The base has a crescent shaped piece of wood with a central rectangular shape that joins to the body.
Round basket with tall, straight sides. Top edge has five equally spaced, raised arches. Exterior is decorated with overall zigzag geometrical designs.
