Wooden, five prong comb; three of the prongs are longer. The top, handle, is rectangular in shape with a circular piece on the top middle. There are three vertical incisions. The surrounding area is decorated with an interwoven line design. Back has simple linear decoration. Front is signed ‘R. Rie’. Remnants of blue detailing.

Seal (a) and clay slab (b). The seal is composed of black stone in a cylindrical shape with images incised into the surface: a female wild boar, two goats standing on their hind legs facing each other, a bird, a small boar and trees in the background. The seal is pierced with a hole that extends from end to end. The clay slab is rectangular with a bas-relief impression of the images from the seal.

Glass vial with a tall, narrow, semi-hemispherical base and a tall, cylindrical neck. On top is a disc shaped, everted rim. The outer surface has a copper coloured shiny coating; underneath, glass is multicoloured.

Face powder in envelope-like paper container. Package in polychrome depicting a warrior on one side and floral imagery with characters on the other.

Ink slab with a rectangular shape, a raised border, a white elephant and four gold Chinese characters on one face, and four columns of characters in relief on the reverse. with two white elephants and characters in gold in front.

Black rectangular slab of ink with prunus blossoms in relief in gold and brown on one face. The reverse has characters in relief, and both faces have a raised edge.

Ink holder (a) carved from ivory with an elongated, slightly curved handle, a bowl with a metal dish insert (b), and a lid that covers the bowl. A dragon and cloud pattern motif is incised into the handle on both sides, and four Chinese characters are incised into the top of the lid with a leaf border around the bowl. the designs are emphasized with black pigment (?).

Jar made of porcelain with a light grey glaze with crackle emphasized by black and brown pigment. There is a slight lip at the mouth and the sides have five lobes.

Triangular in shape, grey clay sherd with a rounded rim and a slightly concaved body. The sherd has a green slip and is painted black with thick lines. Fragment of a larger object.
