Large, carved, wooden, raven hamatsa mask with a long beak and an ovoid shaped ridge for a nose. The beak is hinged with pieces of rubber nailed to either side. The beak is painted black with a red mouth and circular cutout nostrils. At the back of the mouth are two s-shapes. Around the nose is a red ovoid and U-forms. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak along with a fibre head ring. The top, side and bottom edges of the mask are lined with braided cedar. The top has short pieces of cedar creating a fringe, while the back has longer strips that hang over the wearer. The underside of the mouth is painted black with a small white design. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Pipe with metal mouth piece fitted on a wooden stem. Stem is wrapped at the top and middle with strip of plastic twine. Ceramic bowl partly covered in hide and plastic strips and curls around. Hide on bowl is embellished with circle and line incised designs.
Silk hanging scroll. Painting on silk of two carps swimming between lotus pads; mounted on light green silk with gold brocade at top and bottom. Plastic cylinder at base; black and white braided ties at top. Calligraphy in lower corner on left.
Large wooden mask. Has a pointed brow with slanted oval eyes that have white rings for irises. Large beaked, inward curving nose which becomes part of the face. The eyes and the mouth areas are painted black with the remainder stained with red ochre. The mouth is very small and has an open u-shape. From ear to ear, there are small notched ridges from around the face. The whole mask is surrounded with grasses and other natural fibres. Eight holes hold grass ring to mask.
Paper umbrella. Bamboo ribs are unfinished on interior; exterior ribs are black with brown tips; spiral design in red and yellow on oiled paper; gold paper band on interior joints; silver paper band at inner edge. Three holes in paper.
Kukulu Paliya mask (a form of sanni mask) depicting an animal consisting of two padded wire ? frames, each composed of three wire loops, that have been wrapped in red fabric and hinged together to form a jointed, movable jaw. The upper frame supports a muzzle of light yellow-brown hide with a long, black, flaring wooden nose. The creature also has wooden bulging eyes with black pupils surmounted by eyebrows that are attached individually by string to the muzzle and are decorated with geometric patterns in red, yellow, white and black. At the top front of the muzzle is a moustache of stiff plant fibre. The upper and lower frames each have three small jaws (formed by each wire loop), each with their own set of triangular white plastic teeth. A large curly beard made of uneven strands of tightly coiled dark grey wool, tinged light brown to red in some areas, runs the full outer edge of the bottom jaw. Fabric ties are attached to the jaw. A white adhesive label behind the back of the creature's left eyebrow reads, "Kukulu Paliya."
Wooden box (part b) with sliding front (part c). Box has front which slides into grooves at edges. The front has a strip on top which fits to box and a strip across the bottom. There is black calligraphy on front. Display of dolls (part a) on a platform. Four-tiered dais covered with red fabric, and a wooden backdrop covered with gold paper. Top tier has small platform with two seated figures with two small seated figures, and having three larger figures and two lamps surround them. Next tier has five blue robed figures. Next tier has two figures. Bottom tier has three yellow robed figures, a lemon tree, and a red flowered tree.
Purse with wide black bands and narrow red and green stripes in a plaid pattern as well as black and white concentric diamonds in bands. A silver metallic thread runs crosswise over the bag at intervals. The front of the bag has orange, green, yellow, burgundy, black, red, blue, and silver pompoms attached in a symmetrical pattern. The strap, with parallel bands of black, red, blue, orange, yellow, green, pink, silver, and burgundy, is sewn to the sides of the bag from the base where the ends are left unfinished for a length.
Large wire toy car (part a) with 4 doors which open, and sprung wheels. The car slopes where the wire is missing. It is tied in various places with copper wire. Body wire is silver, painted blue, and worn off in places. Wheel axles are twp metal rods. The wheels are rubber with two bottle caps on the back ones. A piece of wire lays on the back, loose, with both ends bent. Front axles work. A long stick (part b) with a wire hook wrapped with copper wire, and black rubber are attached to the steering wheel with wire dividing it into four quarters while copper wires hold it together. The wheels are apart at one side. Two pieces stick out from copper wire on the stick which has blue paint marks.
Toy truck with body, cabin, front, side windows, and doors formed of horizontal straw elements. The chassis is formed by four brown sticks tied with grass. The wheels are made of blue thong material with a yellow strip in centre around wheel. Four pieces of rubber hold the chassis and the body of the truck together.
