Red, lacquered, oval-shaped case known as inrō (印籠), with five fitted sections stacked vertically. A purple cord tied at the base is threaded through two channels on either side, holding the five parts together. The fibre cord extends above the top of the box, with the two ends tied together and held in place with a cylindrical green ojime and an amber-like netsuke (根付). Designs featuring insects and flowers are lacquered and inlaid, predominantly in gold and black on the exterior; the interior is speckled red-orange and gold. The amber-like netsuke has two black insects painted on it.

There are two long pink streamers with sequined designs on the ends, attached at the back bottom. The inside is stiffened with cardboard and lined with red cotton.

The collar bands are a gold meander with orange flowers and a gold floral chain with orange flowers. The inside lining is white cotton.

Around the bottom edge is a meander border in gold and yellow. There are two black ties attached at the bottom. The inside is lined with white fabric.

On the front are sequined designs; in the centre a large floral motifs in yellow and gold on pink ground. The edges are lined with yellow and gold sequins, with gold and white corner details. There are two long narrow panels attached to the upper back, with the same white floral motifs and gold edging. The back is lined with pink fabric.
