Pendant1759/6

A mask-like ivory carving with a hole drilled horizontally at the top to enable it to be a pendant. The head is widest at eye level with large closed eyes. There is a large nose, and a pointed chin with a small beard. There is a four-pointed headdress. An inscription on the left cheek reads "AE.823". (Plastic string detached.)

Apron1744/2

Apron, waist to calf length, made of four vertical sections of black cloth. Five horizontal rows of decorations sewn on lower half. The upper row is made of red felt with straight upper edge along which are sewn eleven large beads, with toothed lower edge. The second row is a crocheted green, dark blue and red-brown band sewn in an horizontal zigzag pattern with alternating gold or silver painted beads hanging on a thread at each point. The third row is a band of red felt with a toothed upper edge. The fourth row is white rickrack sewn in a zigzag with two long brown wooden beads and one round pink wooden bead tied to each upper point with a strip of skin. Bottom row is a red fringe which hangs below the lower edge of the apron. Two white ties are at the upper corners.

Button Blanket1768/93

Button blanket made of black wool with a red stroud wool border along the top and sides and an applique bear design flanked by two Wasgo-like figures in red wool filling the central area. The design is accentuated with off-white shell and plastic buttons. Two buttons and loops are attached to each side of the centre top.

Button Blanket1744/1

Ceremonial button blanket of black felt in a rectangular shape with a red felt border running all around a rectangular black background on which are sewn (as applique) four red designs: a killer whale at the top, and a grizzly bear at lower centre flanked by an eagle and a raven. White buttons are sewn all along the red applique designs. White buttons in triangular groups of three are also sewn along the outer edge of the black background. Two satin ties are sewn onto upper red border. Small copper plate (5.2cm x 1.6cm) with engraved inscription is sewn at reverse side of upper corner: "E. Gosnell & Son Copper & Carving Aiyansh, B.C."

Large oblong cradle (part a) with protruding curved handle, two skin straps attached at either end, a skin cover (part b) , and a piece of fibre cording (part c).
