Metal double-barbed point (part a) with rough metal shaft (part b), fitted and sinew-wrapped in socket of shaped wooden section. This is inserted into a reed section, sinew-wrapped and glued with pitch. Intermittent wrappings of sinew continue down length of shaft. The end of the reed is notched.

Blowpipe Dart2516/4 a-ee

31 poison-tipped darts, made of long thin sticks of bamboo, pointed at both ends. At top of each is a wooden cylidrical tip cover which tapers down in size.

Dart Quiver2516/3 a-b

Dart container with lid. Part a is the bamboo container with a concave base, and two bands of interwoven bamboo or rattan strips that have a connecting string. Attatched by these is a wooden implement with a carved design at the top and two rods at the bottom. It is also attached by wound bamboo strips at the bottom and top. Part b is a lid with the top hollowed out somewhat.

Dart Quiver2516/5 a-d

Part a is a hollow bamboo tube with part of one side open. Tied inside are nine long thin darts, pointed at both ends. One end of each has been dipped in poison. Parts b and c are two loose darts, also with poison on tips. Part d is a very thin, flat piece of bark or wood used as a wrapper to go around the other parts.

The long cylindrical wood case (part a) is partially wrapped around with sinew and it has a skin handle-holder. There is a skin lid cover (part b). Inside are three long wooden arrows with metal arrow points. The stems are wrapped with sinew at both ends.

Metal double-barbed point (a) with a metal shaft wrapped in sinew and inserted into a hollow section of sinew-covered bamboo. Into this is fitted a mid-section of carved wood which is pointed at both ends. A bamboo shaft (b) wrapped with sinew at both ends. The posterior end is notched. The anterior end forms a socket which fits over the lower point of the metal shaft.
