Large, perforated sinker of anchor. See 1-1995. Locality: Saturna Is., Gulf Is. off S.E. coast of Vancouver Is. Remarks: Oval stone with smooth, flat surfaces.* 1" diameter perforation near one side. Grooves present on most of the perimeter. *Information comes from original accession ledger.

"a piece of tabular sandstone approximately 24.5 centimeters long, 18.0 centimeters wide, and 3.5 centimeters thick. It has been ground on one surface which also exhibits two parallel grooves 14.5 centimeters long. (Larson & Lewarch 1995: 7-141)."
Sorted from Excavated Material "tabular sandstone approximately 22.5 centimeters long, 15.5 centimeters wide, and 3.0 centimeters thick. Both faces have been smoothed through grinding, althought one is more worn than the other. The rougher surface is slightly concave. Three sandstone fragments were recovered in situ with this slab. (Larson & Lewarch 1995: 7-141)."
