Pair of seal skin mittens with the fur on the outside. Mittens are made of several pieces of hide sewn together with sinew. They are wide at the base and narrow slightly toward the rounded tops. Thumbs are relatively narrow. Cuffs of the same material are sewn to the wrists of the mittens. The inside is unlined hide.

Man's Pants2963/9

Man’s seal skin pants made of several pieces of fur sewn together with sinew, fur to the outside. Some fur is placed to create patterns such as wide strips around the ankle cuffs, and two small oblong pieces on the rear. The waistband is threaded with a thin rope of sinew to enable tightening about the waist.

Boots2963/7 a-b

Woman’s seal skin boots. The boots have long uppers on the outer side that connect to the pants at the hips, via button holes at the top. Each is made of several pieces of fur in varying shades of brown and white, creating stripes. Pieces are sewn together with sinew. The boot uppers are constructed with fur to the outside, and the feet with hide to the outside and fur inward.

Pair of child’s boots made of seal skin. The outer boot is smooth leather, white, with leather inlay in red, green, blue, and black in stripes and geometric patterns around the ankle. A brown leather sole is sewed to the bottom of the boot. The inside liner is made of hide with fur on the inside, folded over to make a cuff, and hide to the outside.

Woman's Pants2963/6

Woman’s seal skin pants made of several pieces of fur sewn together with sinew, fur to the outside. Some fur is sewn to create patterns, such as two dark brown strips down the front from hip to ankle, and two small oblong pieces on the rear. The waistband has the fur inward and is threaded with a thick piece of skin to enable tightening about the waist. Sinew rope above the ankles allows the leg to be adjusted to size.

Boots2963/4 a-b

Child’s seal skin boots made of three pieces of fur sewn together with sinew. The top reaches to mid-calf, with fur to the outside, skin on the inside. A thin rope of sinew is threaded through holes in the top cuff, allowing the boot to be tightened around the leg. The foot of the boot has hide to the outside and fur inward and is decorated with a U shaped strip of fur on top. The sole of the boot is fur.

Child's Hood2963/2

Child’s seal skin hood made of several strips of fur sewn together with sinew, creating a striped pattern on the exterior, with the plain skin on the interior. To the bottom is attached a long fringe of fur and skin. The hood ties closed at the front with two strips of skin.
