The strands on the left have looped ends and the ones on the right have taupe-coloured seeds on the ends. Strands are black. The band has a geometric pattern composed of yellow on a light burgundy background. There are two yellow dots on either side of a yellow diamond in the centre of the geometric pattern. Band has a thin black border.

Round, rectangular-shaped headband with taupe-coloured seed fringe on bottom edge. Made of beads and has cotton lining. Band has a geometric pattern consisting of vermilion and silver-blue designs on a yellow background. Vermilion and silver-blue designs are outlined in black. Sky blue-coloured zigzags, and white and light green dots throughout pattern. Band has a three tiered border. Border made of a triangular-shaped light green band, triangular-shaped white band and dark pink line. Tiers are outlined in black. Band has black outline.

There is a single purple and a single green bead in the pink line. Band has a white border with a black outline. There is a single dark blue-coloured bead in the black outline.

Ceremonial Tunic3289/21

Rectangular shaped tunic made of pounded barkcloth from fig tree bark. Hole cut in centre for head, and reinforced with some orange stitches. The tunic is predominantly covered in jaguar print markings, which are a deeper orange-red on the back. There are small human figures and a bull(?) on the chest, also a circle with five points inside, four in a square and a central point. This design is similar to traditional ceremonial xikules (large circles with a central point). The bottom central line of the tunic is painted with water droplets.
