Doll2790/20

Female stuffed doll in a bead decorated black coat and red skirt stands on rectangular wood feet. The head is a stuffed and painted piece of canvas with a painted mop-like trim sewn on around the top. A piece of cow hide with hair is wrapped around her shoulders, as are strands of black and white beads and seeds. In her hand, she holds a white hair brush with bead worked base. The legs appear to be wood are covered with a black fabric.

Beaded Necklace2790/17

Beaded necklace (or head band ?) consisting of four square sections of beadwork strung together with large brown seeds and beads of different sizes and colours. Diamond, chevron and linear motifs in red, green, orange, blue and black decorate each of the white sections with crochet-like upper and lower borders. The one larger section has two brass bells hanging from the bottom.

Headdress2777/1

Colourful headdress with a turtle on mulberry fibre, wrapped around the front of a corrugated cardboard and plastic head ring covered with white fabric and decorative elements. A long blonde hair wig and pink feathers are stitched on to a frame at the back. Around and above the nose of the turtle are bands of green and red metal beads and brown shells, from the top of which project five black fabric-covered wood sticks with white shells and ivory coloured polished coconut shell rings adhered to their lengths.
