Two poles (parts a-b) joined with cloth and pitch and with seeds set in pitch (part c). Plain except for the red seeds set in the black pitch which joins the sticks.
Chipped blade set into wood, then into cane shaft. Binding is decorated with black, red, and white triangles outlined with string and accented with white seeds. Obsidian blade is rectangular and angles along the edge to create a point at one side end. From the base of the point, the design is as follows: red, white, and black triangles and diamond shapes; and six seeds, one at either end and in between each white diamond shape surrounded by red.
Skirt with strands of bark (?) extending down from a navy cloth waistband that has several points along the bottom edge, each point ending in a dark blue bark (?) tassel alternating with natural brown bark (?) tassels at the peaks between the points, and is decorated with shells, seeds, and yellow and blue tassels. Twisted cord for fastening.
The seeds are small, hard, brown and lima-bean shaped.
Money in the form of a coil of bark fibre with red scarlet honeyeater bird's feathers and pigeon feathers gummed to the bark. The feathers overlap like shingles. The money is in several parts: a) a segment with nearly all of the scarlet honeyeater feathers intact; b) coil of bark fibre with pigeon feathers attached; c) coil of bark fibre with pigeon feathers and remains of some scarlet honeyeater feathers attached; d) coil of bark fibre with pigeon feathers and remains of some scarlet honeyeater feathers attached; e) coil of bark fibre with pigeon feathers and remains of some scarlet honeyeater feathers attached; f) end segment of woven fibre and bark with a roughly square piece of tortoise (?) shell lashed to the bark and light grey Job's Tears seeds at the edge as well as a segment of braided bark strap; g) four pieces of coil.
Part of a necklace consisting of grey seeds clumped together in an elongated oval shape. The seeds all have either purple, blue or gold sequins with a white bead on top and a metal wire loop keeping the layers together. Each seed has a wire loop bottom which fastens to a brass chain.
Bag made of woven plant fibre with several rows of intentional holes in the weaving, and four rows of light grey seed ornamentation with a thin band of grey pigment at the top, a thick band of light red pigment across the middle, and a band of red pigment along the bottom. The sides of the bag are also decorated with a band of grey seeds, there is a woven strap attached to the reverse, and there is a thick band of grey seeds with several dangling elements composed of a red seed, a segment of black reed(?), a red seed, a grey seed, and an off-white feather at the tip. There are two clusters of orange-brown and black thin feathers at either side of the bag front.
Flat rectangular white beaded panel with green, black, and red, and yellow, red, and black triangle designs on the front. Bead and seed fringe on the bottom, and black fibre tie band on top with two beaded sections attached to the top of the panel.
Bark garment, semi-circular in shape with a rounded indent along the bottom centre; bordered with a row of red alternating and black seeds along with a row of brown seeds. The central motif consists of two red star shapes outlined in black and cream seeds with a central green circle. In the middle of the garment is an orange circle outlined with rows of grey, red and brown seeds creating a sunburst design. In each upper corner is a collection of red and white and orange and white feathers. Along the outer edge is a fringe of grey and brown seeds with lengths of cane. The upper left edge has a top half of a bird beak hanging on a piece of the fringe. There is twisted fibre twine attached to either side.
Rectangular, ceremonial skirt, or apron. The main body of the piece is made of black cotton textile which is bordered at the top with a narrow, multicoloured, horizontal stripe. The lower third of the garment consists of a finely-woven, horizontally striped, multicoloured textile, with many woven geometric motifs. A horizontal row of closely-spaced brown plastic buttons is affixed to the apron just above this patterned textile and extends almost all the way across the width of the garment. Many long strands of dark red glass and metallic cylindrical beads, interspersed with white seeds, are attached below this row of buttons and hang freely to the bottom of the garment. Each strand of beads is finished with a tuft of wool, resembling a small tassel.
