On the pointed end are floral, endless knot and meander motifs. There is a thin green and gold border around the edges. A yellow tassel hangs off each side of the pointed end. The back is lined with fuchsia pink silk.

Purple damask silk jacket with embroidery. The jacket has a short standing collar, long wide sleeves and side opening with gold buttons and frog closures. Around the neck, side opening and bottom hem is a green border with a dark blue band and endless knot trim. The damask is woven containing the Taoist symbols of the Eight Immortals. The inside is unlined.

Behind each is a floral motif showing orchids, a peony tree, bamboo shoots and a prunus tree.

A gold-painted paper mache helmet with a visor. Helmet has relief decoration of spirals. Decorated with pink, purple-pink, orange, and grey with blue spotted pom poms. The visor also has pom poms, many of which are similar to the helmet. The visor is decorated with paper cut-outs of butterflies and dragon heads. There is one back panel consisting of white fabric with green fabric attached at the bottom, and with red fabric along each side. There are fourteen circular mirror pieces decorating the back panel.
