There is a square, dark blue silk cover that slides over the mirror. Embroidered on the cover is a girl wearing pink clothing, standing with a large yellow and purple flower with green leaves. The reverse has pink and yellow flowers with a blue bird sitting on green steam surrounded by green leaves. The edges are bordered with small, dark blue triangles.

Cap of black silk damask with widely spaced roundels and floral motifs. The cap is made of two halves joined at a centre seam from front to back, except for the opening at the top, round when worn. This opening and the forehead area are edged with narrow piping. The edge of the cap is straight across the forehead, but then is cut at a right angle so that it covers the ears. The lower edge forms a circle from the right angle to the top opening. The outer fabric is folded under at the ears and threaded on a cord. The cap is lined with blue-green rayon damask with geometric stepped designs and roundels. A pink silk cord extends loosely across the top opening, attached at the centre front and back. At the back are suspended three pink tassels wrapped in silver thread. At the centre front is a complex knot design in pink cord, and five pink tassels.

At the end of the back seam is attached an ornament of the same metal in the shape of a bat or cicada. Pieces of white paper are pasted to the inside at both sides, and inside the forehead area.

A densely embroidered, multi-coloured cuff, consisting of a wide band (13.4 cm) joined to form a cylindrical shape. Embroidered designs in the form of large X’s and asterisk-shapes, worked in red floss outlined in light gray-white on brown cotton textile, alternate in the central design field, and there are bands of red, orange and light gray-white embroidered geometric designs at the edges. There are two large pompoms, one orange and one red, sewn to the seam where the two ends of the band are joined.

Attached at the top of the two tassels is a piece of green twine tied together by silver metallic thread. Half way down the section is a knotted piece of silver chain. One tassel is green, the other dark purple.

There is a decorative knot at the top of the ornament, oen in between the second and third pendants, and one below the third pendant. An orange silk tassel hangs from each end of the topmost pendant, and there are two more below the bottom pendant.

The purse has an embroidered body with a floral motif in light green, lime green, green, pink and yellow on a dark green background. Pictured in the centre is a large, pink peony. The top has a small rectangular opening made of red silk fabric pleated together to make a fan-like shape. Both sides are identical.
