Long-sleeved open vest. Front cross stitch embroidered with large geometric design composed of triangular shapes. Seams and edges have bright orange stitching. Hidden pocket along lower right side. The left sleeve is composed of multiple pieces of fabric. The cuffs are heavily embroidered in two rows of repeating triangles. The open front and hem are bordered with two rows of dark red platform-style pattern.

Shirt3448/50

Long-sleeved velvet shirt with embroidered panel on chest. The designs are made from couching down thread. The panel has a red rectangular centre with five large circles. It is then outlined twice with bands of flowers and wavy lines. Between each section is a thin band of repeating V's in dark purple or orange with light green, dark pink and light purple. The panel is edged with orange and light yellow-orange ribbon. The panel is split in the centre to follow the V-neck of the garment. The neck is bordered by grey velvet on each side, and hemmed with orange. The interior is unlined except for silk(?) at the open neck, but edges and seams finished with black lace ribbon.

Kente cloth composed of five hand woven cloth strips. The green strips have been stitched together along the long edge, and then embroidered with designs. At each end there are five rectangles across by five rectangles down each strip. The centre of the cloth has groups of three rectangles with embroidered designs spread out. Uneven fringed ends.

Long-sleeved open jacket. Front is completely cross stitch embroidered with repeating geometric designs in bright colours. The back yoke is black fabric with a large embroidered dark red flower at centre, flanked by two smaller red designs. The lower back is a large embroidered panel composed of squares with a large diagonal diamond pattern within. The sleeves and sides continue the repeating geometric patterns from the front. Interior lined with a shiny black fabric.

The strips have been stitched together along the long edge, and then embroidered with designs within small rectangles. Every second rectangle, offset from the neighbouring column, contains an embroidered band of red, flanked by gold, and then light green in horizontal bands. Fringed ends.
