Small blue silk tunic. The tunic has a round neck, wide sleeves and side opening with brass frog closures. Around the neck, side opening and cuffs is a black border with bat, peony and endless knot motifs in blue and white, edged with yellow floral trim. The inside is unlined.

Shiny, vibrant purple woven material sewn into a skirt-like tube. Fabric is covered with evenly spaced, golden, curvilinear motifs and has a golden, curvilinear border along both ends.

Woman or girl’s multicoloured, short-sleeved, blouse front. Dense, bold geometric motifs, embroidered in silk and cotton thread, cover the entire surface of the garment, and in most areas completely hide the ground textile, which is made of red cotton. The shoulder area is defined by large floral designs; below the armholes the motifs form an apron effect, with a wide border at the hemline and along the side edges. Mirrorwork, white rickrack and red beaded pompoms are incorporated into the design overall. At the neckline there is a straight, centre-front slit, decorated with triangular dark grey tabs with tie-cords. Tie-cords are also located at the back of the neck. At the back of the shoulders, plain panels of dark red cotton textile are attached. Sleeves are extensions of the shoulder pieces. Sleeve edges and the hem are bound with strips of plain cotton textile trimmed with decorative machine stitching. A label made of off-white cotton textile, printed with a rubber stamp, is attached at the neck edge on the front with a loose running stitch.

Purple damask robe with rounded neck, wide sleeves, side slits and side opening with gold frog closures. On the front, back and sleeves are large woven roundels with a lotus motif. The sleeve, collar and border bands have lotus, peony, vase and leaf motifs in blue, white and gold on a black ground. The bands are edged with solid blue and floral trim. The inside is unlined.

Red robe with wide sleeves, side slits, side opening and rounded neck. On the front, back and sleeves are five-toed dragon, sun, cloud and wave motifs in silver, blue and turquoise on a red ground. Belt carriers have a silver meander pattern and a gold swirl pattern on a green ground stiffened with paper, wood and adhesive. The inside lining is turquoise silk.

Black jacket with Mandarin collar, side slits and centre opening with a tie and frog closures. The damask fabric is woven containing large roundels with a bird and tree motif. There is a triple black border around the collar, centre opening and the bottom hem. Surrounding the lowest frog closure is an elaborate floral design. The inside is unlined.

Black mesh tunic with Mandarin collar and a side opening with frog closures. There are slits in the sides, back and front. The mesh overlay has a floral and checkered pattern, revealing the lining below. The lining is light blue silk.

Tassel that hangs below a spherical translucent bead with purple streaks through it. The tassel has a long strap of purple silk that has been braided with three knotwork diamonds.
