Blue damask silk skirt pieces (part a-b) with no waistband. Each piece has thin panels edged with black trim. The lower sections have designs in gold couched thread, including lotus, wheel of law, bat, wave, rhinoceros horn and scroll motifs. The damask is woven with cloud and floral motifs. The inside is lined with pink cotton.

Cream vest with appliqué and embroidery. The vest has a round neck, open sides and centre opening with large metal buttons. On the front and back is a black appliqué swastika motif with multicoloured embroidered symbols of the Eight Immortals. The edges and the large lower ruyi symbol have black and floral trim. On the front are two narrow panels with vase and floral motifs. On the back is one large panel with vase and floral motifs. The inner lining is red silk.

Densely embroidered square textile, stitched overall with meandering patterns worked in orange thread in chain stitch on a background of purple silk or cotton textile. The design field is divided into four equally sized squares, separated from one another with rows of narrow gold metallic braid. The textile is embellished with five large (4 cm) ornamental discs, made from several layers of black cotton textile, topped with a layer of red cotton textile and embellished with white cowrie shells, blue glass beads and white shell buttons; one of these discs is located at the centre of each of the four sides of the textile, and there is one in the centre. The textile is edged with blue and white glass beading on all four sides. The embroidery is backed with a layer of dark red cotton textile.

Turquoise panel with embroidery. The panel is thin and rectangular with one end flared and pointed. On the front are embroidered bat and cloud motifs. On the pointed end are floral, endless knot and meander motifs. There is a thin pink and gold border around the edges. A red tassel hangs off each side of the pointed end. The back is lined with fuchsia pink silk.

Green panel with embroidery. The panel is thin and rectangular with one end flared and pointed. On the front are embroidered crane and cloud motifs. On the pointed end are endless knot and meander motifs. There is a thin black and gold border around the edges. An orange tassel hangs off each side of the pointed end. The back is lined with fuchsia pink silk.

Purple panel with embroidery. The panel is thin and rectangular with one end flared and pointed. On the front are embroidered bat and coin motifs on purple ground. On the pointed end are floral, endless knot and meander motifs. There is a thin green and gold border around the edges. A yellow tassel hangs off each side of the pointed end. The back is lined with fuchsia pink silk.

Yellow panel with embroidery. The panel is thin and rectangular with one end flared and pointed. On the front are embroidered butterfly and plant motifs on yellow ground. On the pointed end are endless knot and meander motifs. There is a thin purple and gold border around the edges. A green tassel hangs off each side of the pointed end. The back is lined with fuchsia pink silk.

Long, rectangular shaped silk shawl with many geometric patterns in gold and bronze coloured metallic thread on dark purple and maroon ground. The centre of the piece is dark purple while the top and bottom border, along with the ends, is maroon.

Green damask silk jacket with embroidery. The jacket has a short standing collar, long wide sleeves and side opening with gold buttons and frog closures. Around the neck, side opening and bottom hem is a purple border with a black band and geometric motif trim. The damask is woven containing the Buddhist symbols of the good fortune. The inside is unlined.
