Sash with six solid red bands interspersed with three purple and two off-white bands, all running lengthwise. Embellished with geometric and bird designs in yellow, purple, green, and white silk brocade at one end. Fringed at both ends.

Left arm rests near long curved sword, attached to waist with silk cord. Quiver with five arrows on back. Figure made of straw, has white ceramic face and black fibre wig, dressed in gold silk brocade, with armour of gold coloured metal lamellae laced with red and pale blue silk and brown leather. Horse (part b) of paper mache(?) is covered in imitation grey fur. Brown glass eyes. Reins of purple and white diagonal striped silk, bridle and long body fringe of red silk, saddle of leather, lacquer, silk and fur.

Folding fan with thirty-nine inner ribs of split bamboo, highly perforated, and two white plastic parent ribs. Covered with silk on one side only, painted with grey wave design with two sailing boats and birds in red, with silver glitter, on white background. Silver paper around edge. Attached to silver-coloured rivet is cord of pink silk, 25cm. long (double), knotted, with tassels at end, strung with an imitation pearl.

Folding fan with thirty-eight inner ribs of split bamboo and two perforated orange lacquered parent ribs. Covered with silver coloured paper on both sides, painted with design of flowers and leaves in light and dark red, yellow, black and white. Through white plastic rivet is strung a cord of pink silk 9 cm. Long (doubled), knotted, strung with transparent plastic bead.

A closing fan with twenty-three inner ribs of split bamboo each with a butterfly(?) design burned on the base of each side and two parent ribs of bamboo each with a burned design. Each parent rib is set into a dark rosewood piece through which the brass rivet passes. Fan has light brown paper on one side only, on which a dinner menu in French is printed for June 10, 1929. Attached to the rivet, there is a knotted white silk cord, 17.5 cm. long, on which is strung an orange glass bead (red jade?). At each end of this, there is a knotted flat tassel of braided white cotton bound with gold coloured metallic thread.
