Red silk cloth sewn in three sections, with overall blue cloud motif interspersed with green and blue bats. Gold embroidered Chinese character at centre, flanked by two gold embroidered large elephants, and two gold embroidered smaller elephants one at each end. On each large elephant is a blue cloth with a vase on top. Inside vase are flowers, a bat, two decorated standards with tassels, and fish and kite flags. Each small elephant has similar decor, but no bat. A pink cloth borders the top. Backed by pink cloth on reverse.

Deep purple kimono with designs on the lower front in the style of Iro tomesode (色留袖). The neck and centre opening are edged with a deep purple band. The sleeves are short with hanging panels and an opening under the arms. There are white crests on the upper front, back and back of both sleeves. The designs on the lower front have pine tree, floral and screen motifs in green, blue, cream, white and orange. It has five family crests or kamon (家紋) in the shape of ivy leaf known as tsuta (蔦). The bottom hem is padded with cotton. The upper lining is cream silk.

Kimono-Style Robe1458/44

Cream kimono-style robe with silver and gold couched designs. The neck and centre opening are edged with a wide cream band. The sleeves are short with hanging panels and an opening under the arms. On the front and sleeves are vertical tree prunus motifs in silver and gold. On the back is a large peacock motif with tree prunus motifs in silver and gold. The bottom hem is padded with cotton. The inner lining is a darker cream silk.

Red robe with embroidery. The robe has wide sleeves, side slits and side opening with ties. The front, back and sleeves have large roundels with yin-yang and pa kua symbols in gold surrounded by colourful cloud, bat and floral motifs on red ground. The scalloped borders around the neck, sleeves, sides and hem have colourful bat, peaches, butterfly and floral (chrysanthemum, orchid, prunus, peony) motifs on dark blue ground. The inside has blue cotton lining.

The sleeves have a wide border with floral motifs in blue and white on gray ground. The inside is unlined.

Dark blue damask robe with embroidery. The robe has a short standing collar, wide sleeves, side slits and centre opening with a tie and frog closure. The damask is woven with a chrysanthemum and leaf motif. On the front, back and sleeves are embroidered prunus, orchid, peony, chrysanthemum and butterfly motifs in red, yellow, blue and green on dark blue ground. The sleeves are turned back to form red silk cuffs. The border around the collar, cuffs, centre opening and hem has peony, orchid and butterfly motifs in blue and white edged with gold floral trim. The inside lining is blue damask silk with chrysanthemum and floral motifs.
