Case consisting of two cylinders of tortoise shell, encased in embossed silver at top and bottom. Knife with handle (part b) of translucent grey-green stone, tapered from top; embossed steel blade (part c) is loose. Pair of bone chopsticks (parts d-e) with silver encased ends and silver knobs at top. Flat ear pick (part f) of bone with silver band near wider end.

Hood1330/1

Close-fitting, shoulder-length child’s hood made of red cotton textile which is heavily embroidered with medallions, geometric designs, mirrorwork and linear border motifs, worked in green, yellow, off-white, blue and black cotton and silk thread. A rectangular panel of embroidered cotton textile hangs loosely to the shoulders at the sides and back. Mirrors, alternating with blocks of interlacing stitch, form a border around the edges of this panel; a square multicoloured medallion and two multicoloured circular medallions are embroidered at the centre back. The crown is embroidered with floral motifs worked in silk floss, and there is a short fringe of green, white and blue glass beads at the forehead. Two short strands of twisted fibre are attached at the front edge, over the temples. The hood is lined with dark yellow and red cotton textile, and the edges of the hood are bound with dark yellow and green cotton bias tape.

Thimble Ring1210/3

Silver thimble ring. Central rectangular section narrows to thin back on each side. Central design has three flowers in a row and are surrounded by six oval shapes on each side lengthwise. Two scroll-like shapes on either side of the central pattern. Lined edges around the perimeter.

Two silvery circular hook earrings with three circles forming a triangle at the top and a downward pointing triangle with a floral design in the middle, from which emanates rows around the top quarter of the earring. There are remnants of a dark blue colour in the central triangle.

Sugar Bowl441/7

Round metal bowl with scalloped edge held up by three dragon figures that are arched outwards and then come in at the base to create the foot of the bowl. In between each dragon figure are two raised panel sections depicting various scenes. The first set of panels includes a man with a raised hand near a building and some trees, and flowers and branches. The second set of panels depicts flowers and a small bird about to take flight, and a man sitting near a tree with his foot resting on his other knee. The third set of panels displays bamboo grass and a dragon figure.
