Outer BootsNa1694 g-h

Outer boots (also see boots a-b, and inner boots c-d and e-f) that have skin soles and uppers. Bands of purple ribbon are sewn around the ankle and the top of the upper. Each has a fabric cuff with orange and black wool drawstring that threads through loops of skin on the sides of boots a-b, and ties at the front of the ankle.

BootsNa1694 a-b

Skin boots (also see inner boots c-d and e-f, and outer boots g-h) with dark brown soles, white uppers and grey and off-white seal fur legs with a geometric pattern. Legs have a vertical band at the front of each in dark grey-brown fur. Each boot also has a green, white and brown drawstring with a dark blue, green, off-white and brown tassel on each end.

Pair of boots that are worn with double liners (Na1693 c-f). The boots are composed of seal skin soles and uppers; off-white and grey fur is still attached on the legs. At the top of each leg is a dark blue and light green drawstring with an off-white, blue and light green tassel at each end.

Shadow Puppet2722/5

A flat gold puppet, with an ornate dress and headdress painted white, green, blue, red and gold, is attached with thread to a long horn rod with central split that goes up height of puppet on both sides.The shoulders and elbows are jointed and a rotatable marionnette stick is attached through the palm of each hand. Feet are joined heel to toe by red strip.

Rectangular basket with an imbricated black and red design consisting of a strip of red triangles outlined in black alternating with black meander pattern. The rim is detailed with a coiled scallop pattern. There are remnants of a handle on the outer centre of each side.

Drum2704/42

Tall, narrow drum with a skin top. The circular skin top is stretched down and tied with bark to a double woven band around the middle of the drum. Into the woven band are pushed nine carved stakes. The stakes are pointed and vary in length and shade. The drum is unpainted wood, broad at the top and tapers to the base. The interior is hollow.

Drum with three long legs and a skin top. The drum is painted with a reddish pigment. The circular skin top is stretched down and tied with bark to a double woven band around the middle of the drum. Into the woven band are pushed nine carved stakes. The stakes are short, pointed and unpainted. The drum is round and one piece with three thick, irregularly carved legs.

Double layered beaded bracelet on leather backing. The beads are sewn sections, differing in colour (black, white, orange, yellow, red) and motif (solid, stripe, triangle). Stitches around the middle create the look of two layers.
