Dagger3326/47 a-b

Dagger (part a) with a leather sheath (part b). Dagger with long steel(?) blade on one end and short triangular iron blade on the opposite end. The long blade is stamped with small crescent shapes fourteen times in two columns of seven near widest end of blade. Hilt made of wood covered with leather, band of reptile skin around centre of hilt. Sheath made of leather with reptile skin at opening and knotted at pointed end. A twisted cord of leather is attached to a small loop at the top of the sheath.

Drum3326/24

Large cylindrical drum with skin membrane stretched over six large angled wood pegs. Deep relief carvings around the side of four standing male and female figures and one large disembodied head. A male and female figure each hold a staff in their left hand, and offering plate in their right. On the opposite side is a drummer and a dancer figure. There are four short feet at the base.

Boots3305/2 a-b

Pair of men’s calf length boots with slits along upper back. Calf portion of boots made of maroon silk with vine-like designs and characters embroidered throughout. Back slits and top edges of boots trimmed with dark blue, black and yellow plaid fabric. Red silk band around ankles with flowers and feathers embroidered in black and gold. Red silk extends upwards along front and back seams. These sections have characters and flowers embroidered in gold and light blue. Front red silk seam has gold and blue stripes down centre. Back red silk seam has orange stripe down centre. All red silk sections trimmed with yellow and blue stripes. Foot portion of boots covered with white material and have dark brown leather(?) appliques around heels and toes. Dark green and white fabric layers between boot and black leather(?) soles. Boot interiors have dark red-purple lining.

Shadow puppet of the lower section of a traditional house (goes with 3364/10). Made of semi-transparent animal skin and a watery paint or dye, soaked into the skin. The puppet depicts an uneven blue and red building with a blue, red and orange door with a brown overhang above and a lantern hanging. Next to the house is a pointy green plant. The maker's name is written across the red section.

Depicts a square container with four arms with scalloped decoration, one rising out of each corner, that connect at the centre above. There appears to be a hook at the centre. Small shadow puppet of two characters, a wrestler named Pehlivan, and a monster named Canavar. Made of semi-transparent animal skin and a watery paint or dye, soaked into the skin. The wrestler wears long dark green pants with a red belt, and is shirtless. He is bald with a large moustache. The large orange cat-like monster is facing the wrestler with its tail curled up over its back, and the characters are engaged in battle. They stand on a small section of landscape with green and brown leaves. The maker's name is written along the hind leg of the monster.
