BagD2.48

Back of the bag is made of hide edge with green wool and pale yellow and grey beads. Front is beaded with a geometric design that consists of a central red diamond shape bordered by dark blue, yellow, and green. Below this, there is an upward pointing, dark blue triangle bordered by yellow and green. Just above and over to the sides of the central diamond shape, there is a smaller yellow, red, and light blue diamond shape. The upper corners of the bag are rounded. The bag is edged with two rows of dark blue and one row of light blue beads. Beaded on one side.

ShirtD2.165

The shirt is made of light coloured skin with beaded panels and several fringes. On the front of the shirt, beneath the rounded neckline, there are four red beaded lines within the white beaded outline of a triangle. There are long fringes on the two downward sides. On either side of the triangle there is a beaded panel beginning at the shoulder and extending halfway down the shirt. The panels feature a motif of two triangles touching at the point. Within each triangle are smaller triangles of blue, red, green and black. Each panel has two triangle motifs separated by a blue and red 'X'. There are long fringes on the outer edge and bottom of the beaded panels. The back of the shirt has exactly the same designs as the front. The shirt is open from under the arm to the bottom edge with three ties on each side. The bottom edge has a cut triangle fringe. On the backside of each arm, extending from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve, is a beaded panel featuring the pointed triangle motif separated by an 'X'. Around the end of each sleeve a double-sided cut triangle trim is attached. On the back edge of the sleeve there is a short fringe. Underneath the arm, from the body to the end of the sleeve, there is a long fringe.

Thunderbird Cape863/2

Cape made of painted cloth and wooden slats in the shape of wings. The upper part of the cape is white cloth with red and black designs with some green detailing. There are four metal rings, two on each side, attached in the middle of the upper edge for fastening the cape. To either side of the rings, the edge is lined with white fur and large black and white feathers are attached. Midway down the white cloth wooden slats are attached and continue down past the end of the cloth. In the centre is a raised wooden oval painted red and black with three red downward barbs. From this centre piece, there are four painted wooden slats extending outwards on each side. The innermost slat is the shortest while the second is close in length to the third and fourth. The slats are painted in black, red and green designs. The underside of the cloth and wooden slats are not decorated.

The moccasins (part a and b) have soles, red skin and beadwork around the toes. The soles are light brown and wrap part way up the sides. There is brown fur sides and white fur around the foot opening. There is a strip of red skin around the toes decorated with white and dark blue beads. Above the strip is a circle of beadwork rings in dark blue, light blue, white and red.

Bag made from deer hide decorated with a floral design at the top front cut out of the deer hide revealing orange cotton that had been inset underneath. The front flap is embroidered with a floral pattern in pink, purple, yellow, and green. Two pockets on the inside. The bag is rounded along the bottom edge.

Mask of a woman's face with a swiveling bird on top. The red-brown face has circular cut out hole eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a white tapering oval with black brows above and a vertical ridge in between up to the black hairline. The nostrils are cut out as is the open white mouth. The cheeks are painted with a pair of black u forms. The bird on top has black tapering oval eyes surrounded by a plain carved tapering oval with a black head, a red-brown beak and body, and brown fur for the wings. The bird is perched on white feathers. Skin strips are tied around the back at the top and at either side with mulit-coloured patterned cloth and a wood stick.

Headdress1060/61

Headdress consisting of concentric rings of hide and a circle of hide at the top of the crown, all joined by strands of beadwork in dark red, dark blue, medium blue, white, and light green with a fringe at the rim of small blue and white beads as well as larger purple beads. There are four short beaded strands also attached at the rim as well as two long strands of larger blue and green beads alternating with lengths of small white beads and intersperced with light pink beads as well as large painted wooden(?) beads in green and red. Two brass hooks are attached to a hide loop at the rim.
