One rawhide skin moccasin with the sole sewn on and sewn up the back. Fringe at back and on tongue. Cotton binding on top of ankle pieces. Beaded on top with a large green triangle from which emanates two dark blue protrusions on a light blue background outlined with dark blue. The sides are beaded with red triangles having a yellow centre and outlined with dark blue on a light blue background.

Rifle CoverD2.85

Rifle cover made of hide with beaded panels and a 38 centimetre long twisted fringe at the stock end. The beading is symmetric at the barrel end, but different motifs are on each side at the stock end. Thinner end has same double-sided design of a red zig zag line with pink and yellow triangles on one side and with white triangles with dark brown rectangles emanating from the rim on the other side, all of which is surrounded on three sides by an outline of black bow-tie-shapes on a light blue background. Thicker end has a dark brown x-shape on a white background with two dark blue diamond shapes outlined with red on opposite ends of each other of the 'x' and with two sets of four black rectangles on opposite sides of each other of the 'x'. The other side has a yellow and light blue diamond shape outlined with red on a white background with four cross shapes, one at each corner. Thicker end is surrounded by red triangles with a central vertical yellow line on a light blue background. Pieces of red wool are woven into the ends of two lengths of fringe.

Long, horizontal pipe with a wooden stem and brass bowl that ends in an upwards curve. Middle segment of wooden stem is wrapped in black and white snake skin(?), edged with purple, red and yellow ribbon, and has two long skin tassels hanging from it with red and white beaded decorations. Scalloped bottom of curved brass bowl is punctuated with a series of holes, through which strings of beads and strips of leather tied to feathers and ribbon are strung.

A white skin square bag with beadwork on one side, a zig zag edged handle, and fringe at the bottom. The bag is edged with light blue beads on the sides and light blue and orange beads on the top. The main beadwork design consists of an orange flower with light blue inside at the bottom corners, a light blue flower outlined with dark blue in the middle, a dark blue flower outlined with light blue and with yellow inside at the sides, two yellow flower with dark blue inside at the top middle, two more dark blue flowers outlined with light blue and with yellow inside above in the middle and a green maple leaf with orange and white inside at the top corners.

Skinning Tool1003/3 a-b

Thick segment of bone with one end carved into a curved, ninety degree angle. A long leather cord is affixed to the other end, then tied around the middle and wrapped around the curved end. A leather strap is tied to the cord near the centre of the bone--the other end of the strap is looped around a drop-shaped metal piece. Part b is a flat, square piece of metal with a sharpened edge.
