Carved wooden wolf mask with a long snout painted red and black with white edging. The muzzle was hinged to the lower jaw and is now nailed shut. The face has white edging around the green ovoid with black eyes on white background. The head of the mask has been covered with a piece of hide. Ears are attached to the top of the head and are decorated with black spots. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of carved, rectangular shaped handle used to hold the mask when worn. The handle is tied to the rim of the mask with twine. The mask is painted black, green, red and white with stylized designs.

Knife2605/1 a-b

Reindeer herder's knife (part a) and sheath (part b). Elongated 'L' shaped sheath is comprised of two pieces of reindeer antler held together with metal nails, and topped with leather handle and strap. The antler has been elaborately engraved with interlinking circular and triangular shapes, which appear to have been filled in with ink. Knife handle is made of antler and polished wood, with similar etchings as sheath. There is a small inscription on the back of the sheath.

Pair of leather sandals (part a-b). The sandals are made of two leather pieces, held together with a nail and a long, thin ankle and toe strap. The toe strap is knotted on the underside; the ankle strap is threaded through flaps on the sides.

Pair of men’s leather sandals (part a-b). The sandals have a full back backs and a tongue piece attached by leather thongs to the sides. The tongue piece is red with an upper green stripe and five incised metal rings. The toe strap is pulled through a hole and threaded back through the tongue piece. The sandals are have black rubber tire soles and are held together with metal nails.

Shadow Puppet1374/81

Shadow puppet of male figure with gold face in profile. Represents the character Arjuna, Pandhawa Prince. Long neck with six black lines, projecting out from body. Long nose, open mouth with three teeth. Hair tied into curved plait that joins at top of head with two purple, white, green, gold, yellow and red attachments. Skirt is gold and brightly coloured with bird motif, torso is bare. Hair and skirt finely perforated. Long, jointed arms attached to controlling rods. Each hand has one red and two blue rings. Feet are joined heel to toe by red strip.

Knife2548/2 a-b

Part a is a steel knife with a black coloured cow horn handle. Handle has two sets of four metal bands alternating with three black coloured bands. On the bottom of the knife handle there is a circular piece of metal with two black circle outlines by the edge of the metal circle. Part b is a camel skin sheath that is sewn up one side (with sinew?). Near the opening, on either side of the stitching there are two flaps of extra skin. On the tip there is a cylindrical wrap of skin. There are burnt geometric and linear designs on both sides and top of the sheath.
