Baby Carrier1719/12 a-c

Large oblong cradle (part a) with protruding curved handle, two skin straps attached at either end, a skin cover (part b) , and a piece of fibre cording (part c). Cradle has overall light and medium brown checkered weaving pattern, and is decorated with alternating diagonal rows of black and red cherry bark.

Small red dress with beadwork. The dress has a v-neck, short sleeves and flared skirt. There are rectangular beadwork panels on the upper front, back and sleeves. The panels have a triangle motif in yellow and black on white ground. The inside is unlined.

Neck Ring1689/4

Long tubular beaded neck ring with alternating sections of red, green, and white beads. Each section has row of ten beads and is separated by a single row of black beads. At each end, there is a section of light green coloured beads with a single row of black beads and a double row of blue beads. Metal button at one end, attached with cord.

Cuff1689/1 a-b

Two brown skin pieces with the ends attached to each other to make a conical-like formation tapering into a smaller end than the other. Round metal circles decorate the outer edge rims along the top and the bottom. Round metal circles also make an outlined design of a horse-shoe or crescent-like-shape.

Model soapstone rifle. Leather strap is attached to barrel through a metal ring, and to the butt through a hole carved in the stone. Inscriptions on both sides of the barrel, and a circle within a circle inscribed at the end of the butt, at top edge of butt, and behind chamber for bullet and locking mechanism. Hollow area underneath barrel near front.

Cylindrical basket that tapers slightly towards the bottom. It has a long arched handle and a circular lid that is secured to the basket container by two strips of skin. The basket is decorated with alternating sections of white coloured woven cedar root and light brown cedar root with alternating sections of red-black cherry bark.

Round basket with tall, straight sides and fitted, hinged lid. Hinge and fasteners at front are of skin thong. A handle goes from front to back and is made of skin thong with bark coiled around it. Sides and top are decorated with X patterns in brown with dark brown intersections.

The corners and edges are reinforced with metal sheeting, and there is a border of two rows of metal tacks on the top, front and sides with a multicoloured painted inner floral motif border on the front, sides and top of the lid on a black ground. A painted floral motif decorates the top centre of the lid. A metal handle is attached at each end with a metal lock and ring at the front. The lid is hinged on the inside.
