Undecorated shadow puppet. Arms are articulated at shoulders and elbows with skin joints. Decorative cutouts are at hair, waist, skirt, hands, and feet.
Partially decorated shadow puppet. Arms are articulated at shoulders and elbows with bone joints. Decorative cutouts are at hair, waist, skirt, hands, and feet. Black paint has been applied to the hair; white and red paint has been applied to areas of the regalia. Both sides of the puppet are painted.
Shadow puppet of male figure with black face in profile. Long neck, with six black lines, projecting out from body. Long nose, open mouth with three teeth. Hair tied into curved and pointed shape with gold coloured attachment. Skirt has brightly coloured design and chest is bare. Hair and skirt finely perforated. Long, jointed arms attached to controlling rods. Ring on each hand with three red circles on it. Feet are joined heel to toe by red strip. The shoulders and elbows are rotatable and a marionette stick is attached through the palm of each hand.
Apron composed of woven fibre with two neck straps that have brown tufts of fur at the ends, and a fringe composed of strips of woven fibre with brown fur and longer brown and black hair attached at the ends as well as chains of braided rings made of bamboo strips(?) and brown grass(?). There are tufts of reddish-brown fur at the top of each chain, and the apron is decorated with red, blue and white pigment.
Rectangular basket with a convex lid hinged by three hide straps. Design consists of lighter coloured dashes (grass) on a natural brown background. A horizontal row of black bark dashes also goes around the bottom and the top, with red bark around the middle.
Elongated, rectangular, white silk belt backed with white cotton. Belt is covered with blue sequins, gold sequins, and clear tube-shaped beads arranged in representations of birds. Four large tabs of fabric hang from the belt, two from the bottom and two from the top directly over the lower tabs; tabs feature sequin bird imagery matching that of the main belt. Belt is secured with two metal eye and hook fasteners. Strips of bird skin with white fluffy down line the ends of the belt.
Two-dimensional painted puppet of a Dutch military or colonial official. The man is shown wearing a neck ruffle and carrying a sabre with an ornate wire hilt and scabbard. Long, translucent yellow-brown carved sticks are attached to both hands with a third, tapering stick running up the figure's left leg and chest, ending in a looping reverse curve over the figure's ear. Both arms have movable joints at the elbows and shoulders.

The eyes are round and red. The mouth is red with gold-coloured teeth and fangs. The nose is long and pointed outward. He is wearing a red, black, and gold-coloured checkered outfit, blue anklets, and red bracelets with blue and green and gold-coloured curled protrusions. The shoulders and elbows are rotatable and a marionette stick is attached through the palm of each hand.
