Long narrow panel with a woven design. There are two rows of yellow diamonds with orange and purple outlines. The two rows create a centre, recessed row of pale yellow diamonds. The panel is edged with white beads and backed with light leather.

SandalsSf1067 a-b

Hide sandals (part a-b) with brown straps made of twisted sheep skin. The soles are made of cow hide with black fur on the topside. On each sandal the strap is tied on the bottom of the sole in the toe area. The strap is then looped through two holes in the sides and extends back to fit over the heel.

Dart Quiver1082/3 a-f

The quiver (part a) is a red-brown skin case with a light brown skin handle stitched with fibre and beaded at the top rim with white beads. The bow (part b) is a dark brown curved wood stick with fibre string linking the two ends. The darts (parts c-f) are made of light brown wood sticks which have long pointed tips and sinew(?) wrapped around at their ends.

Knife551/2 a-b

The knife (part a) has a dark brown wood handle which has a circular base, a cylindrical hand-grip, and a t-shaped guard from which the metal blade tapers at a sharp angle and then becomes a sharp point sharpened at both edges and sides. The sheath (part b) is made of skin with a piece of skin tie at the back, and it is completely covered with wire metal.

Moccasins1242/1 a-b

Pair of small brown moccasins with multicoloured linear beaded patterns over the toe, a fringe around the ankle, and leather ties over the tongue. Moccasins are attached to each other via thread attached to the back of both heels.

Boots565/2 a-b

Pair of boots made of brown and white caribou fur. The soles are made of dehaired seal skin with upstanding sides with vertical crimps. Between the sole and the vamp a red dyed narrow strip of dehaired skin is inserted all around. The leg section consists of white caribou fur with vertical brown caribou fur panels and narrow strips of white and brown caribou fur on either side of the leg. On top of this a horizontal strip of wolverine with two wolverine tassels in the front and in the back is sewn. Above this and intricately decorated broad band of shaved white and brown caribou fur in a geometric pattern, and tufts of red cloth are attached. The top of the boots have a blue cloth casing through which a plaited cord of wool is strung. On either side of the foot a long strip of dehaired skin is attached into the seam of the sole.

Pair of leather mittens with a long, flaring cuff trimmed with dark brown fur; a second band of fur encircles with wrist, with a leather fringe on both sides of the mittens running between the two bands of fur. Floral-shaped beadwork in white, orange, black and light green. Lined with bright blue, floral print fabric.
