Coiled cedar root basketry fishing creel with a lid and a leather carrying strap with a metal buckle. Undecorated simple coiled work with parallel splint base and lid construction. Woven hole in the top and on the back (for the strap). Three reinforced splints on base.

Coiled cedar root basket with flaring sides, parallel splint base construction, several rawhide thongs and partial imbrication. Vertical striped design; tri-colour checkerboard design creating alternating red and black oblique lines within the stripe. There are four stripes per side and three per end. A rope-like cord is strung from side to side, threaded through the thong ties along the upper rim of the basket; a red, white and black wool shoulder strap pad is woven onto the centre of the cord.

Curved, circular piece of carved shell tied to a looped band of beading. The strap is of woven beading; the ends of the strip are sewn to thongs which tie in front of the shell, passing through two holes in it. Beading is white, blue, red and yellow, in a regular design. The shell is shaped on its edges, and the trade ornament is attached to the knot made by the thongs in front of the shell.

Beaded all over one side and partially beaded on the other side of the bag. One side has a main design that consists of a plant with two pairs of leaves on a white background. The vertical stem is orange. The upper portion of each leaf is dark blue and yellow with green at the tip while the lower portion is light blue. The border has five equally spaced squares of dark blue bordered by light blue. The other side has a double border. The outer border is light blue with bands and semi-bow-tie shapes in dark blue, yellow, and orange. The inner border is white with three equally spaced red lines.
