The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

A large slate fragment, potentially a semi-lunar slate knife. The belonging is a light grey with some darker grey inclusions and a very fine grain. There's also a dark grey section near the outer end edge. Some use wear present along the edges. Dorsal face has a few flake ridges, and some flake scarring along the edges, the ventral surface is flat and smooth.
A large core scraper. Smooth light to medium grey cortex makes up the entirety of the thicker edge' spine. The belonging has a thicker handle that gradually tapers down to a thinner edge. The thin edge has a half bevelled appearance. The belonging's exposed surface is a medium grey with a fine grain. The dorsal face has some flake arrises, and some compression rings from the flake removal process. There's an impact site near the dorsal face, too. The ventral surface has some compression ripples.
A medium sized thin semicircular tertiary flake. Some use wear present along the distal end. The belonging is a medium grey with some thin white streaks along both surfaces and a very fine grain. On the dorsal surface near the centre of the right edge there's a small compression ring with some compression ripples reaching inwards towards the centre. The ventral surface has a half rounded ridge.
A medium triangular and thin slate knife, unifacially bevelled. The belonging is light grey with some varying shades of grey patches, and a very fine grain. Some recently exposed surfaces are a medium grey from recent scarring. The ventral surface has been smoothed out, some light surface scarring is still visible from being sanded down, the dorsal surface is flat but textured by the natural grainage.
A large slab of slate with some cortex present. The cortex is a smooth, medium grey with some off-white negative scarring. The exposed surface is dark grey from scarring, and fine grained. Roughly rectangular in shape, with jagged layered edges.
A small piece of slate debitage. The belonging is a glassy light black with a very fine grain. The dorsal face is slightly raised, with some of the layers peaking through. The ventral face has a triangular flaked off section. The belonging sports a tiny hooked fragmented section, a rounded edge, and a flat edge.
A medium sized flat tertiary flake. A matte dark grey with a very fine grain. The ventral surface is flat, and has some flake scars. The dorsal surface has some flake arrises.
A medium sized tertiary flake. Dark grey with a fine grain. The dorsal surface has a erailleur scar right on the rounded edge, and potentially a bevelled edge above the catalogue label. The ventral surface has a point of impact, and a compression wave just on the opposite side as the catalogue label.
A small roughly trapezoidal ground slate knife, unifacially bevelled edge. Dark grey with a very fine grain. The ventral surface has some compression ripples near the rounded edge.
A medium sized tertiary flake. Medium grey with some lighter and darker grey speckling, and a very fine grain. The dorsal surface is smooth, potentially polished/sanded down.
