The carved mouth is slightly open with oval-shaped carvings of eyes(?) on the top portion of the lip between the mouth and nose, and long ear-like carvings on either side of the upper lip extending to the eyes.

Dark brown kayak made of skin stretched over a wooden frame. The skin is sewn together with a seam running down the centre of the boat from the upturned, pointed end to the pointed tip at the front. The circular cockpit is ringed with a strip of wood and raised in the front.

Underside of both sandals have two large drilled holes in the centre and one large drilled hole at each end.
