Carved wooden standing figure. Female figure is nude with pointed breasts. She stands with feet together on a small round base. Her arms are held close to her body, and hands together in front of her abdomen. She wears a cap with three descending hornbills.
Wooden bovine headdress (or mask). The animal has two large, slightly curved horns extending up and over its head. There are two small ears on either side, next to the eyes which are carved in low relief. The snout is long, with nostrils flared at the end, and teeth bared. The teeth, eyes and nostrils show remnants of white paint.
Trough-like dish, carved from a single piece of wood. Reddish-brown in colour with an incised animal design across the top of the dish, and mirrored on each end. The extended ends slant downward somewhat. The bowl is oblong-rectangular in shape, similar to the overall shape of the dish. The base is flat; "HAIDA ART Reid" inscription on base.
Unpainted eagle, carved from a single piece of wood. Bird has large hooked beak, prominent brow ridge, and large circular eyes with tapered edges. The legs extend out front with talons down, wings are folded at the sides with three feathers on each side. The smooth, flat back extends up to the top of the bird's head, with exception to the tailfeathers at the lower back. Artist name on base.
Wooden model pole featuring, from bottom to top; a bear holding an upside down frog, a beaver, a wolf, a frog and a bear holding its long tongue with hands. At very top there is a bear crouched over the top of two watchmen. The wood is stained (unpainted).
Dark brown grease bowl carved in the shape of a bird. The bird's head and tail extend beyond the oval bowl, at either end. There is a small frog carved in the beak of the bird at the very front. A bird face is carved on the top of the tail and design elements are carved along the sides.
Ivory snuff bottle (part a) in the shape of an official's wife's head, with flowers on her ears, a butterfly on her forehead and two flowers in her hair. Figure's hair, shaped into a bun, is removable and acts as a stopper (part b). Stopper has a short spoon attached inside.
The paint is black, red, white, and green.
