Knife with long curved metal blade attached to a short cylindrical wooden handle. Blade is straight near the handle and gradually widens and curves to a hook-shaped point. The blade is attached to the handle by a metal ring that is wrapped around the top of the handle where the blade and the handle meet. At the end of the handle, a metal dowel is exposed. This secures the blade in place.

Wrist Knife734/13

Wrist knife that has a U-shaped thin steel metal piece that is bordered on the interior and exterior by thin strips of leather skin. Exterior leather is attached to other side at the top with a chain. Exterior and interior leather pieces are connected with a small chain at the side. Interior leather piece has a coil of copper at the top. Steel metal is attached to the skin with copper wires through holes in the side and in the bottom.

Brass key with long, cylindrical shank and single rectangular bit. Bow is an overall diamond shape with scalloping around the edges and an incised line that mirrors the edge; another incised band is around the key's shoulder. A hole is at the top of the bow and the incised decoration goes around bottom of hole at this point rather than the edge; a large steel key ring goes through the hole.

Plain. Bow drill and mouthpiece. The antler drill (part a) is cylindrical and tapered to a rounded point at the bottom end and has a long point at the opposite end. The bone piece (part b) is that of a caribou foot. The bone bow (part c) is a curved piece and a loose band of skin across and knotted through a hole at each end of the curved piece.

Spear (a) with sheath (b). Spear (a) has a long steel lanceolate-shaped blade, shiny with some tarnish and etched lines echoing its shape. Blade is connected to a shaft by a corroded metal fitting. The shaft appears to be a broom handle wrapped with bark. At one end the bark has uncoiled. The black sheath (b) is two pieces of wood held together by five bands of metal wrapped and beaten together. Nose and eye shapes are incised into the wood to achieve a bird-like face. The narrow end is carved with a geometric design.

Top. Turned, natural wood, teardrop-shape top (part a) with cylindrical metal point implanted at pointed end. The top is bulbous at the middle with three brown grooves encircling. Top end has raised section which tapers to nipple. There is a cut, straight edged rubber 'cord' (part b).

A small leather pouch ( part a) with a lunate metal blade fixed to along the lower edge. Flap is ornamented with incised metal bands and brass-coloured bosses. Coral stone is set in the centre. A ring is fixed by a brass plate to the upper edge. Twisted woolen cord attached. Both a white quartz stone (part b) and an orange flint (part c) reside in the pouch pocket.

A brown leather jacket (part a) fits over a folded cotton pin-cushion (part b) which opens to reveal a pocket to store needles. A large steel neddle, and strip of wool are inside. The cushion is covered in red-dyed cotton, and bound at the bottom in a leather piece which has two metal eyes, and a leather pull-tab. Braided cord strap.

The end of the dark brown, wooden handle has a large, off-centre knob on which a man's smiling face is carved. The wooden handle is fitted into one side of a steel band. The blade is fitted into the other side of the steel band. The blade is thin where it meets the hand guard and gets thicker towards the point.
