Arrow2927/5

Footed arrow consisting of a wooden and antler shaft and a steel arrowhead. The wooden part of the shaft has fletchings of twowhite feathers held on by tightly wrapped sinew. Its nock end is oblong and has about a centimeter of wrapped sinew on the shaft above it. The other end has a both a hole and a slit cut into it lengthwise to facilitate the hafting of the antler component. It is also wrapped with sinew. The antler component is inserted into the hole of the wooden part and is attached to the arrowhead by a socketed tang. It has barbs carved into the two sides that complement the edges of the arrowhead. The arrowhead is almost pentagonal in shape.

Its nock end is oblong and has about a centimeter of wrapped sinew on the shaft above it. The other end has a diagonal cut out of it that forms a point to which the antler can be hafted. It is also wrapped with sinew. The antler shaft has a complementary diagonal cut to the wooden shaft and is attached to the arrowhead by a socketed tang. The arrowhead is almost pentagonal in shape and the edges adjacent to the tip are beveled sharp.

Knife (a) with sheath (b). Blade is long and narrow, coming to a sharp point. Handle is cylindrical, made of metal and antler. Sheath is metal with embossed designs, and is wrapped in dark red fabric with a tassel on the end. The tip of the sheath is flattened and has a wood guard on the inside.

Knife and sheath (part b). Blade is long and narrow, coming to a sharp point. Handle is metal and cylindrical with a ridged conical end. Braided wire detail covers the bottom half of the handle. Sheath is long and cylindrical and is completely covered in red fabric with yellow stitching. Two ties with brown tassles hang from the sheath. There is a wood guard on the inside of the sheath. Part c is a coin with a slit in the middle that fits around the blade and slides down to rest on the top of the hilt.

Sheath is also wooden with metal coverings on either end, and is wrapped in dark red fabric with yellow-brown tassles hanging from each end. Silver metal coverings on the ends have a braided wire design, and the tip of the sheath is flattened. Sheath has a wood guard on the inside.
