Nipple-top maul fragment. Portion of broken shaft surface removed for analysis (diamond cut slice). SAJH number on one side.
Sandstone net weight with perforation in center. "56" written in white paint; one mark of white paint to the right on the side. "SAJH 130810" written in white (probably Acryloid B72) under the "56."
Dacite drill/punch, with "SAJH 136527" and "SJ119" in white on back (different inks).
Square-shaped mortar with two oval depressions on top surface. Edges are irregular and base (bottom) has nine distinct scratches and circular marks of lighter color then stone surface. On base is SAJH number in white ink over clear varnish. On top is darkened area with black ink number "53"; one one edge, black ink number "56". One oval depression is incomplete due to broken edge.
Utilized flake of whiteish chalcedony. Drill or punch end utilized and retouched. Some cortex on one side. "SAJH 130791" written over a faint "21" in black on cortex.
Chert projectile point, basal-notched, pink and white mottled, with one barb missing. "40" (faint) and "SAJH 130802" in black on one side.
Hammerstone with a few pitted areas and one blackened spot. "SAJH 127059" in white ink.

Maul is made from basalt and is ground. Maul has red and white paint? marks on it. Maul was found by the source's mother and was burned in a house fire in the 1950s. (S. Iles 5/5/2004)
