Carved bird with four part footed base; incised circular eyes, prominent beak and incised mouth. The stone has green/grey variegations.
Green and brown stone pi (part a) with circular hole. Upper side has carved design of four motives with eyes and whiskers. Reverse side has calligraphy enclosed in two incised lines. Carved wooden stand (part b) has a grooved crescent attached to openwork curvilinear support attached to rectangular base with curved feet at corners.
An assortment of 1200 unstrung beads. Most of the beads are green, blue, grey or blue-green in colour. Their shape is generally discoid or cylindrical.
An assortment of 542 unstrung stone and shell beads in a container. Colours range from blue, to green, orange, black, grey and white. There is a single bead of rolled sheet metal.
241 assorted mineral and stone beads, mainly turquoise; strung on monofilament. The stone beads vary in shape, size and finish. There is no discernable order to the stringing. (Plastic fishing line was added by the collector for holding the beads.)
Twelve hollow, spherical gold beads, each constructed from two half-spheres. There are three small gold beads of the same type. There are also twenty-four irregularly shaped grey pearl beads and four disc-shaped stone beads (two light yellow and two blue/green).
Altar or shrine composed of three square slabs of slate laced together with string threaded through holes on sides to form a triptych. The central slab is surmounted by a crown shape; indented squares on front; two matching geometric incised designs on outer surface of squares, when closed. The inner surface has Christian images, representing angels, Mary and her child.
Twenty-four beads of assorted sizes, predominantly blue and green in colour, threaded on monofilament. The largest beads are well finished barrel-shaped bead and a disc with a central hole. One bead has a human face carved on it and an eccentrically placed hole. Three beads have drill holes in two directions.
Cylindrical brown carved wooden headdress with human head features. Surface is smooth with a few adze marks. Head is hollow with rectangular orifice at the back; and one on top of head surrounded by an oval carved rosette with white outer edge. Neck is open to fit head above the brow of wearer. Ears are small, flat and scooped out; face is long with flat nose, puffy checks, white lenticular eyes and mouth, bared white teeth (six upper and five lower). Three incised parallel scarification marks are incised on upper cheeks from below ears to nose and three similar lines arch from above ears and meet at mid-forehead.
Rough grey stone with a concave upper surface. Has an oval shape that is rounded at one end while pointed at the other end with a vertical groove in the middle of one of the long sides in between.
