The design consists of a large, central fish with white eyes and mouth; purple, blue, pink green and yellow u-shaped gills and orange, red, purple, green, blue and pink long fins. There is a small fish behind the large one as well as in the top and bottom corners of the panel. The smaller fish are outlined in orange with yellow, green, black, pink and purple detailing. The ground is red with orange, green, blue, pink, yellow and purple stripes. The panel has a red fabric backing. The edges are raw.

Below the flannel is a stitched band of stylized flowers (peyote blossom ?) in yellow, red, blue, green and pink. That band is bordered by a green, orange and cream circular design. On top is a repeating bird pattern in red, green, black and yellow; two black birds are different. In the top centre is a purple, yellow and pink butterfly while the bottom corner has a red crane and flower.
